Comfort Inn Mount Airy
"Our stay at Mount Airy NC Comfort Inn was very pleasant. The staff was excellent to deal with. The breakfast was one of the best complimentary breakfasts we've seen at hotels. It was clean and pleasant. We stayed on Monday night on our way to Myrtle and again the next Monday night on our way back. The first night was booked through Expedia, and working with them was a nightmare. I used Key Points I had accumulated. I talked to an Expedia rep and they tried to tell me that when we arrived there would be about $140 more of a charge for local fees, but told me if I paid them $75 then that they would waive them (which i wouldn't think they would be able to do). When I said I wanted to cancel, he left to talk to a manager (he said) and came back and waived the extra charges somehow. With the Key Points I only ended up paying $71. I talked to the Comfort Inn and they said there are no local fees, just a crecdit card damage deposit which they refund on checkout. I don't know what expedia was trying to do, but the stay would have been almost $300 if I had listened to them. On the second night, I booked directly through Comfort Inn and it went smooth with no problem. The only reason I rated it a 4 star was because it could use a little updating, which they said was coming next year. All in all we were pleased with our stays. We will try to avoid Expedia in the future unless we just use their web site."

The Lodge at Primland, Auberge Collection
"Expedia y la propiedad no aclararon los cargos y tuve que esperar casi 1 hora a que acreditaron el total del dinero que ya había pagado por adelantado. Reserven directamente"
