This is a lovely, very spacious gite, very tastefully decorated and well equipped. It has an enormous garden with wonderfully shady trees and good garden furniture. It is in a great location close to the elegant and very historic centre of town (and to good restaurants!), and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. If we didn’t give five stars, that is because nothing is perfect - some of the plentiful equipment in the kitchen could have been a little cleaner, but then we did come at the end of the summer…

A real find in Pezenas

Our hosta Brigitte and Olivier were very warm and welcoming. The property was very clean and furnished beautifully. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well We had everything we needed - and shops bars and restaurants were within easy walking distance. We woud highly recommend it. We will definitely return. Thank you Brigitte and Olivier!

Character property

Unusual gite. An 18th. C building sensitively renovated by M & Mme Duthoit. Lots of space and benefits from a large enclosed and secluded garden. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. My only criticism is the bed which needs improving in terms of mattress and bedding. Check In a bit of a struggle as Mme Duthoit had a lot to tell me and my weak grasp of French made things a bit difficult. Written instructions would have helped - either in French or English. But overall an enjoyable stay.

Comfortable, spacious apartment 5min walk from Pezenas town centre

Really enjoyed our stay in this very old but very well maintained home close to the centre of Pezenas. The kitchen was well equipped, as were the bedroom and living rooms which were on a grand scale with lots of large old furniture giving plenty of storage. M. & Mme. Duthoit were most welcoming and helpful and although my Fench is limited we seemed to manage to communicate. We did find the bedroom cold as the sun never gets to it but in the height of summer I imagine that is a benefit and we found additional blankets so it wasn’t a problem. I was a little disappointed with the garden, not as green and luxuriant as the pictures, but maybe the result of a very hot summer last year. This is a great property, well equipped and comfortable, close to all amenities but down a quiet road, I would highly recommend this and the town of Pezenas.

Lovely, spacious, characterful bedroom and lounge. Garden was diasappointing: totally dry and dusty.

Beautifully renovated rooms in an old house conveniently situated near the centre of Pezenas. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were tastefully furnished with some lovely antiques. The large free car park nearby was convenient but access to the property on arrival was difficult - a narrow lane between buildings. The garden was nothing like the photograph and the lawn was just packed dry soil and not pleasant to sit out on. Maybe this was just because we were there at the end of a long dry summer. The owner is very friendly and helpful but doesn't speak any English at all. It would be useful to have some written information in English in the property. Also, we weren't made aware until a couple of days before we left home that we would have to pay extra for bedding. We did enjoy our stay and loved Pezenas.

Charming, very spacious property with fine furnishings.

Very pleasant two weeks spent in this very spacious and comfortable property. Beautiful furniture and furnishing. Well equipped kitchen with all that you need. Lovely bedroom with plenty of storage space, Good supply of clean sheets and plenty of towels provided. As long as you kept the shutters closed during the day the property remained cool throughout our stay with 30+C temperatures. Lovely garden was a welcome addition with dining table and chairs in shaded position under a tree and plenty of sun loungers for relaxing in or out of the sun. Although the location of the property is very close to the centre of Pezenas, it was always quiet and peaceful. A large car park was just a minutes walk so no difficulty with parking and we were able to park outside the property to off load our luggage. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely stay in "Old Pezenas"!

We spend a few days in an amazing traditional ancient home close to the historical center of Pezenas. Very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a beautiful flowered private backyard. The owner was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The historical part of town is fascinating and there are multiple affordable and pleasant restaurants along the way as well as dozens of antiques shops. Definitely plan on returning...

Super Lage

Geschmackvoll mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet. Alles da, was man zum Kochen braucht! Absolut ruhig und man ist zu Fuß schnell im hübschen Ort. Vermieter immer erreichbar, wenn man sie braucht.Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt und wir konnten den schönen Garten kaum nutzen.

Séjour formidable dans une propriété historique

Très bon séjour dans cette maison située a quelques mètres du centre ville de Pézenas. Logement très spacieux, agrémenté d un grand jardin sans vis-à-vis. Pézenas vaut le détour, et ses environs méritent d'être explorés. Bon accueil de la propriétaire des lieux. Seul bémol ,en cette période caniculaire, l'absence de climatisation est très préjudiciable; a noter également un frigo trop petit ,pour ceux qui comme nous n'allons jamais au restaurant;

Schöne Wohnung, riesiger Garten, sehr nette Gastgeber

Sehr angenehme Gastgeber, freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Die schöne Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Der große und hübsch angelegte Garten bietet viele Möglichkeiten auch bei großer Hitze einen angenehmen Platz zu finden. Die Wohnung liegt am Rande der Altstadt und es ist alles fußläufig erreichbar. Auch bis zum Meer ist es nur eine gute halbe Stunde mit dem Auto. Wir waren 4 Wochen dort und haben jeden Tag genossen.

Petit séjour plaisir au cœur de l'hérault

Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par nos propriétaires dans une résidence aux grandes pièces meublées intelligemment et avec beaucoup de goût. De la chambre au séjour, en passant par la cuisine rien ne manquait à notre confort. Entre deux découvertes de Pézenas nos charmants hôtes nous ont même fait découvrir un excellent cru des Terrasses du Larzac. Nous ne ramenons que de bons souvenirs de notre escapade chez Brigitte et Olivier.

à l'ombre du tilleul

La maison est très belle et reste fraîche l'été. Elle est très bien située, à deux pas du centre ville de Pézenas dans lequel il fait bon flâner... à proximité de la rivière (20 Minutes en voiture), du lac du Salagou (25 minutes) et de la mer (25 minutes)... On peut jouir d'un jardin arboré agréable, et Brigitte et Olivier Duthoit nous font profiter de leurs bonnes adresses, merci !...
