This hotel is lovely and I used to come up to this area as a girl. I hadn't stayed at the Perry Hotel in at least 10 or 15 years and I wondered if it would be more run down, but it was excellent and just as wonderful as I remember it. The view of the water from the breakfast room is beautiful.

Location, location, location! The hotel is a bit tired and worn, but very clean and the staff are wonderful! It was built in 1899 and has unlevel floors, noise, and is a bit dated. No fridge in the room, but we asked and they delivered a portable fridge in 3 min! Wow! But the best part was the view of the lake on the 4th floor and we were steps from the shopping district. One nice perk was a man brushed off the cars after a 9" snow. We would stay again just for the location!

Rooms. Old & smelled. The kitchen vent must have been near my room. As soon as breakfast hit, my room smelled like grease & vegetable's. Overall the smell from the kitchen never went away.

This is a lovely hotel. While the rooms are small, they are well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was so nice and there is a beautiful public room with a fireplace to sit and enjoy morning coffee. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Top notch hotel

Breakfast was fresh and scrumptious. The room was sparkling clean, mattresses were so comfortable. Quiet. Parking was ideal. Staff nice and attentive! Front desk staff were happy to share local tips for shopping and highlights of Petoskey. We want to come back and stay at your hotel and drive to Mackinac Island. Your hotel was marvelous!!
