Mount Errigal Hotel Conference & Leisure Centre
"We had a large, clean room with a very comfortable bed. It was good to have enough space around the basin in the bathroom to set things and we also had plenty of hot water for baths. For the standard of hotel, we would, as a minimum, have expected to have complimentary water in the room, or somewhere to fill a water bottle. We couldn’t access the QR code to get room information which was a little annoying, especially as we were clearly not the first to report the issue. We used the leisure facilities on one morning and it was lovely, clean and a good size. We really enjoyed some peace and relaxation - until 2 shrieking children arrived. The low roof in the children’s pool area really amplified the sound! We do think staff should intervene in a situation like this. Children having fun and making a bit of noise - fine. Piercing shrieking - not fine! Food was very good in the Boulevard bar and staff friendly. On the Saturday evening, however, there was a horrendous queue in Lily’s bar and that’s where I was sent to get some water to take to the room! Both bars should have been open when a known event was taking place and the hotel was full."
