My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The hospitality and service from everyone at the hotel was outstanding. We enjoyed our room - plenty spacious, warm fireplace, comfy bed. Our booking included breakfast, which was the best breakfast I’ve had at an American hotel - fresh food, protein options, fruit, etc. reminded me of a European hotel breakfast. The spa was under construction during our visit, otherwise we would have loved to try a couples massage. Instead we booked at the Stein Erickson across the street - a pricier spa experience than the Chateaux would have been, but well worth it. We will have to come back when all renovations are complete!

Check-in was warm and welcoming, and the staff made me feel like a valued guest. My room was spotless, the pool was comfortably heated—even with snow falling—and breakfast exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

The TV has no access to apps. There are no charging ports next to the beds. Today’s phones all wireless charge needs wireless charging stations next to bed. I was told the restaurant would be open for a full breakfast buffet. I had purposely called the hotel prior to our arrival being I saw this on the website. They stated it would be open on the day that we were there. It was not very disappointed. Also dining space was extremely small for the crowd that they had.

The room was very beautiful but unfortunately I found the bed super uncomfortable. The gas stove kept making noise the whole night with a clicking noise the whole time had me thinking it was gonna go off any second. The altitude was extremely uncomfortable. I had an awful headache the whole time I was there. Found a few spider webs by the bed area. Parking ticket was was too expensive. Never found the smore kits we were told. And the very last thing my reservation said complimentary breakfast and when we arrived we were told their kitchen was closed because this months sales were slow. Not sure how that is our fault we are paying the same rate for less for amenities. My husband and I ended up checking out super early because we just couldn’t rest. It was our honeymoon get away and it turned out awful. We won’t be going back. Just feel like we got overcharged for such a bad experience.
