This property is absolutely stunning! Definitely a 5 The house is beautiful and the views are breathtaking!! It was perfect for our family! Everyone had their own space and that was so nice! The porches were amazing! This is where we enjoyed our morning coffee taking in the clean air and gorgeous views. The kitchen was a dream and well stocked! The hot tub was perfect and relaxing! The homeowners were available by text or email if we needed anything! We had a fantastic week and will definitely book in the future! 100% recommend this property, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful and Quiet

We spent a week at this cabin for spring break and absolutely loved it. It was very quiet and secluded but an easy, scenic 10-15 drive to town. Both our kids are teenagers and there was plenty to do in the cabin to keep them off their phones especially looking at and talking about all the magnificent stars in the sky. We went skiing 3 days at Wolf Creek and snowmobiling 1 day, all easy access from the cabin. We brought our two dogs and they had a blast too. Host Kathy was awesome, always quick to respond and helpful with ideas on things to do. We can't wait to come back!

White Christmas!!

While this house can't control the weather it did set up the perfect get away for our family on Christmas. The house is great with a well equipped kitchen and entertainment even though we normally just caught ourselves staring out the windows at the fantastic views. The beds were all incredibly comfortable. Would stay again.

Pagosa Cabin in the woods

Very nice property, away from the noice of town. The house had great decor and everything you would want in your own home. We will try to come back sometime with more of our family. Kathy was very helpful gave us all the information we might need during our stay

Beautiful Cabin and Location

My family stayed at this property for five days (summer 2024). The host was amazing about communicating and was extremely helpful. The cabin itself is very spacious, clean, and well stocked. The views and surrounding nature are beautiful. Within hour and a half drives, we were able to visit: Durango, Lake Night Horse, Lake Haviland, and Mesa Verde National Park (closer to 2 1/2 hours to get to the locations within the park.) A short drive from the cabin we’ll get you to Pagosa Springs and Treasure Falls (a short hike that is definitely worth the views). My family enjoyed playing pool and hanging out in the hot tub while star gazing. Overall, a great experience.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We have stayed in many VRBO’s and this is by far the best. This house is great for families that need space. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with necessities and the views are unbelievable. It’s a short drive to town and remote enough that you feel like you have gotten away from the hustle and bustle of city life. You will not regret choosing to stay here.

Retirement Celebration!

The owner was a great host and her home was beautiful! Everyone enjoyed their stay at this well kept, clean, spacious Colorado cabin. This was the perfect place to celebrate my retirement, enjoy time with family, and take in the scenery around Pagosa Springs.

Amazing stay!

This was our first trip to Pagosa Springs and it didnt disappoint! The house was beautiful and gave us so much space. I enjoyed having a fire in the AM and PM. My family cant wait to go back! Thank you Kathy!

Cameras and audio was intrusive.

The cameras with audio are just outside the front and the rear of the cabin. The afternoons were warm (in the upper 80's ) so we had the doors and windows open and its was uncomfortable to know you are being watched and listened to. Full disclosure you are in for more rules when you arrive. Request to limited your showers to 5 minutes. I see the need for rules but please list them upfront.

Nice but...

The home was very accommodating for the whole family. The views from the deck were a favorite! The unfortunate heat wave did make the house quite hot and fans couldn't cool things down much so sadly fans running day and night made things noisy. Some restrictions (smoking in car, 5 min showers) did bother some family members. Hauling trash out should not be the responsibility of the renters in my opinion. Sorry to say that too many restrictions, cameras, instructions for everything, although understandable, didn't allow the relaxation I was looking for. I wouldn't return but it is still a beautiful place that other might truly enjoy.

Perfect

The house is beautiful and exactly as described. Even though there are other homes in the area, it secluded, you cannot see the other homes and it is very quiet. We spent most of our time outside on the deck enjoying the beautiful views. Beds were very comfortable and the layout was perfect for friends traveling together providing privacy with the multiple levels. The host, Kathy, is great, very friendly! We've stayed at many VRBO's in various places but this one is the best we have experienced. Definitely recommend this property to everyone!

Amazing vacation in the sky!

We had a great time from reservation to check out! The house was immaculate, included everything you could hope for, and the views were amazing. From watching the sunrise in the hot tub to the lightening storm from the deck in the evening and then the rainbow afterward- everything was great. We had an amazing time and would love to visit again!

Perfect get away

If you are looking for the perfect get away this is it!! One of the best VRBO's we have ever stayed at. I would rate it 6 stars if possible. The spacious cabin is tucked away in the woods away in the woods with a wonderful view of the mountains from every room. Tastefully decorated with everything you may want or need at your fingertips. The floor plan is terrific with two bedrooms and living space on the ground level that leads out to a large patio with an outdoor fire place and hot tub just steps away. The upper level has a master with a king bed and on-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and giant copper soaking tub. The kitchen is super functional and fully stocked with everything you need and then some. The loft area has two additional beds and a full bathroom. The deck off the upper floor overlooks the property and has a great view. Kathy is a pleasure to work with. This would be the perfect rental for anyone small to large group looking to get away from it all and just relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Absolutely Amazing!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Kathy was on the spot with any questions we had! The cabin was in the best spot, secluded and extremely quiet. Extremely clean and well equipped! O have recommended the property to e erybody I know and we will most certainly be back!! I would give it more stats but it limits me to 5! Great job!

Great Pagosa Property

The house and property were excellent! Kathy was great to us and even allowed us a late check out since we were delayed in arriving. We had 3 couples and more than enough room. The master suite was beyond our expectations. The pool table was a big hit. The outdoor decks and patio offer amazing space and views. This will be our go-to spot when visiting this area from now on.

Incredible Mountain Home

We had the most amazing stay at the home. Kathy is an incredible host and and we loved our stay. The home was perfect perfect for our Christmas getaway. The house is beautiful, we’ll appointed and a perfect mountain getaway. It’s only about 15 minty tea away from town but feels so much better that it’s far enough away to feel like you’re getting away from everything. Our kids who are always one their phones practically put them away and spent time with us and each other playing board games, pool and exploring. Cell service was non existent for us but the home has good internet and a landline that allows long distance so we were able to communicate with the small amount of work calls we needed to sneak in between board games. We had quite a bit of snow during our stay which made the home even better but did make trips away from the house more difficult. We brought our 2 wheel drive f-150 truck and BMW X5. We bought chains for both and 100% needed them. We also decided to leave the X5 at the bottom of the ranch near the mailboxes and loaded up the trucks bed with sand bags for weight. We didn’t have an issue until the last day before the the roads go plowed. We had some trouble getting through but made it after a couple of strong pushes by others in our family. If you have a 4-wheel drive bring it for snowy times. We can’t wait to go back and we’ll be making the home our go-to whenever we go back to the Pagosa area. Thank you Kathy for such a great trip!
