Beach view obstructed by the room we got King room with partial beach view, their viewing tower or their restaurant is blocking the view completely of the setting sun which was the whole reason we booked the room To watch a westcoast setting sun only one set of towels when we had two people in the room The microwave door was broken so it wouldn’t shut Had trouble even finding the room to begin with and they didn’t have breakfast but they had a restaurant so we said, “oh no big deal we can eat breakfast in the restaurant and watch the view in morning,”, it doesn’t open til evening time They don’t serve breakfast at all😟 The jet tub was very short My girlfriend is tall, so that wasn’t pleasant for her as we had hoped. For the money this place is lacking a lot If you want and ocean view make sure you book the end room all the way at the end We also were mislead thinking we had access to a balcony to view the ocean but our room was the only one that didn’t have a balcony or access to the balcony We booked the room so that we could watch the sun set from our balcony The website said in the description partial or shared balcony, that was a lie Website also said blackout curtains which I loved because I hate morning sun coming in the window Pictures below of the curtains They aren’t curtains at all Blinds!!!! Did not block out anything !

The fireplace didn't work when I noticed that a lot of the plumbing hadn't been done very well.Because you could see visible mold... It was okay for what it was.But I think mostly you're just paying for the beach that you're near.

The room smelled moldy. Black spots and rips on sheer curtains. No cell service inside the room (had to physically leave the room to send and receive texts). Heater didn't work consistently. Heater power was inconsistent and way too loud to have on during the night. No caffeinated coffee in the room (had to call the front desk). Staff is kind and friendly. The location is perfect and the ocean views are stunning, but I will not be staying there again. Very disappointing.

Beautiful, clean room with a wonderful view of the ocean. Staff ( Tina, Destiny and Heather) at the reception were very friendly and helpful. They helped to make my stay even more enjoyable!!! I loved the hot tub in the room. Very good value. I look forward to staying at the Pacific Beach Hotel again!!!
