Not worth the money and dealing with online staff

Convenient area. Was in town for a wedding. Had to cancel another room we had due to hotels unwillingness to work with my handicapped family member. Since I booked through a third party they wouldn’t guarantee that he would be able to use the room even though I checked the handicapped box on the original reservation. When I said he only has one leg they told me to go online and look at the pictures of the rooms but they were sure it wouldn’t work. I had called ahead to make sure it was on the first floor at least and the girl was really nice but whoever responded to my messages was very rude. So I just cancelled 4 other family members rooms there. Room also extremely close to railroad tracks.

The rooms a/c heating system does not work properly. Paying over $300.00 for a room that only gets cleaned every three days, and does not inform you that you will be waken up continuously during the night with the train whistle and your bed shaking every hour.

We love the 1 bedroom suite which is a really large room! For us the price and size of the room beats the other hotel near Carleton. However, the train noise with the windows open at night was really loud. Once asleep it didn't bother my daughter or I, but it did disturb my husband. The sofa bed is unsleepable and we bring an inflatable bed. All in all though this is our choice when coming to Northfield.

The pool was freezing cold and they don’t have a hot tub any more and the staff was rude if you asked to turn the pools heat up

We were in town at the beginning of Jesse James Days which was a very easy walk. The carnival rides were literally across the street from our room but we did not hear them. The staff was super friendly and helpful when we had an ussue with one of the washers. Its our new go to hotel when we are in town!
