"The moment I walked into the Renaissance, the team handed me a cold bottle of water. After arriving on a hot, sunny day, that small gesture meant so much and the welcome only got better. Tahyka at reception was personable, warm, and genuinely hospitable. She noticed it was my birthday, and then Riangelo appeared with his amazing smile, personality, and a birthday plate! This dynamic duo also let me know I’d been upgraded to a Majesty room. Talk about a welcome. This was my first solo trip to Curaçao, and the location was perfect. I could walk along the water into Willemstad to see the floating Queen Emma Bridge, try restaurants, visit museums, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy the Kaya Kaya street party. There’s even a mall at the property, where I treated myself to a spa visit. My room looked like something out of a movie: beautiful, spotless, and wonderfully cool after a day in the sun. The property was always clean, room service was great, and the team accommodated my request for a late checkout. I’ve already told my friends and family about this place. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. The setting felt like a postcard, but the people made it feel like paradise. I’d stay here 10,000 times over. Bon bini!"

"The mangrove resort was very clean, there were tons of staff walking around cleaning up dishes picking up trash and straightening things up. Our room was always cleaned and snacks and drinks were replenished daily. Max was the bellboy that helped us the most giving us tips on best times to go to town and the Thursday night fireworks and answers to general questions about gas stations and grocery stores. It seemed like he was always there with a big smile and a fist bump. If I had to give a negative it would be not being able to get a plain soda at the beach bar. They would give you water for the kids or a non alcohol cocktail but for a soda they had to go all the way over to the breezeway buffet which was a good ways and required adult supervision- just would have been nice to get them a cold soda from the bar since they have it there for mixed drinks."

"Although not a resort or on the beach. Kura Botanica is in a prime location. You’re in Kura Hulanda village in downtown Otrabanda, Tons of restaurants, a gelato shop next door, bars, art, shops and a museum nearby. Meters away from Queen Emma’s bridge, Riff Fort. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was a nice spot to relax and there a bar by the pool area. We paid for the breakfast and are glad we did. The breakfast area is located at the Freedom cafe which is like 4/5min walk away (not hard to find you can also use google map). For breakfast they had: scrambled and boiled eggs you could also request an omelette, fruits, oatmeal, breads, croissants, sausage, pastries, cereal, coffee, tea, juice… there was something for everyone You can walk across the floating pontoon bridge to get to Punda right across the water or take the ferry when the bridge is closed, there are also many stores as well as crafts shop located in that area. Plasa Bieu is a must go for truly local cuisine in Punda but make sure to go early. It’s the perfect location if you don’t plan on renting a car. And if you do rent a car opt for a compact, the streets are narrow."
