Let me get the "not likes" out of the way first. The main "did not like" is the location: it is not easily walkable to grocery stores or nightlife. Ride-shares don't operate in Aruba, and you have to call for a taxi. Very inconvenient to get around, beyond a 10-minute stroll to Reflexions Beach.
Minor shortcomings: The showerhead was on a cable not a fixed spot on the wall (it's challenging to shower with just one hand). Also, there's a strange leak from the bathroom that brought a tiny stream of water into the master bedroom. The ironing boards were mini-size, not very useful (albeit better than nothing).
Everything else: keyed outside gate, clean swimming pool available for all the apartments. Our apartment was very large, with a spacious bathroom WITH HOT WATER, huge bed in the master bedroom, air conditioning units in every room, complete kitchen with microwave, complimentary wine, two clothes irons (for some reason, haha), full-size fridge, the list goes on. You can tell that they - either our hosts Ligia and Vincente, or whoever owns the property - spent money. Our hosts were also helpful - they picked us up from the airport and took us back there to catch our flight. I only wish that they spoke English, however my girlfriend speaks Spanish so things got done regardless.
In summary, despite the inconvenient location this spot was nice for a couple, and I can imagine it'd be FANTASTIC for a family of up to 5, especially if they have they own car. Enjoy Aruba!
