The shower is a hazard! I fell down the stairs & cut my back on the tile. I am seeing a Chiropractor. I think you should fix the stairs, so other people can avoid falling.

The property has great views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets, but is not beach front. The beds are comfortable but the couches could use an update. Would rent this property again.

The most incredible view!

We did this getaway for our 40th Wedding Anniversary, and we were not disappointed! The views are incredible, with dolphins and occassion surfers out front daily. There is no beach access, as it is a rocky area with breakwater, but the sound of the ocean waves crashing was just incredible. The private balcony was awesome, and the shared yard with the fire pit was nice. Having a garage was a bonus. All the basic necessities were there, but bring your own spices, oils, coffee (regular, not k-cups), etc. If there was a downside, it would be the walls are thin, and when you get loud people, it reminded us how blessed we are to live in a single family home! It was walking distance to so much, including the Strand (.5 miles) the pier (1 mile), and the harbor (2 miles). We're happy we stayed at this location, as there is not a boardwalk or too much traffic, but close to all of that. Lovely trip!

Awesome Views!

Really great views from the living room and master bedroom! Amazing sunset views and also saw dolphins swim by each day! Was clean and had all the essentials to enjoy our stay. The unit could do with some new couches in the living room and a couple of new chairs in the balcony.

Spacious and right on the ocean!

The first thing we noticed when we came in was just how spacious this place is. The second thing we noticed is the VIEW through the wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling window-walls. And the sound. We spent long hours on the patio just enjoying the ocean view. We brought beach stuff and never used it, the deck was enough. And over the course of a few days we saw dolphins and a sea lion. The place is very well appointed and comfortable and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect beachside location

The unit was spacious and bright, with a larger living space than expected and deep couches that suck you in. The kitchen had everything we wanted/needed as well and everything worked great. The beds were comfortable but honestly the sound of the ocean would lull anyone to sleep. Location was great, whether we were going surfing up at the Harbor or grabbing dining and shopping in Carlsbad, everything was close by. Our family had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to come back!
