We were not made aware of major issues that should have been disclosed prior to booking. Noisy construction work as we had children needing naps. Only 1 keyfob provided (for 8 people) which is required for access to: the building, unit itself, private parking lot & pool. We told owner of challenge and he said “too expensive to provide more fobs” Couldn’t access unit door until it magically opened after communications with the owner. Wet towels left in dryer that belonged to the unit. “Sorry, cleaners must have not finished their work”. Found the fridge not cooling, had to read manual-it was in vacation mode (OFF). All our groceries were spoiled. Owner said it was previous renters (really doubting they would touch fridge settings) Couldn’t get the thermostat working in 2 bdrms, owner controlled temperature for us. Clearly, he had ability to access “smart” devices and adjust things remotely. NO excuse for us spending our vacation troubleshooting technology. Weare reasonable people trying to enjoy our short amount of time off. When we tried to address these issues, owner did not respond. I absolutely hate leaving negative reviews, but don’t want this to happen to other families.
