hotel was nice...nicer than other RIU's I have been to. was not pleased with specialty dining ....website spoke of 4 but only 2 were available and seating was filled early..leaving buffet as only option....which did not provide a lot of non-beef/seafood options. food could be better

Property in a great location for walking and view of ocean. Staff were always accommodating. It would have been a more positive experience if we were made aware of the fact that the property is going through some upgrades/renovations and it was a little noisier than a normal RIU property that we have stayed in before was.

Excellent food quality for an all-inclusive. Room quality was mediocre. Staff service was average. The hotel is dated and a major portion was under renovation. While our room was clean, it had a musty odour to it.

The staff was very friendly. The food was mediocre. The property is run down, but seems to be undergoing renovations. Only 2 of the 4 restaurants were open, and one restaurant took over an hour to bring dinner. The beach is perfection. I wouldn't go back to this hotel specifically, but I'll be back to this beach spot.

The room was not cold enough, and the construction noise was very loud and disturbing. The restaurants wouldn’t accept guests after a certain hour, even though they were open late, which was disappointing. The alcohol was quite watered down, and there were kids on the side where they weren’t supposed to be. Despite these issues, the staff was very friendly overall.

The rooms direct view was the swimming pool and a side view or the ocean. The room cleaning service was not the greatest the beds would be made but the room would still be dirty, dusty night tables, tables and dressers, the cleaning staff left tissues in our shower, shower glass, screen door and glass separating bedroom and sitting space were never cleaned. The elevators her hot and humid, 1 out of the 2 elevators was out of service a lot of the time. Food was mediocre but the snack bar was terrible. My husband and I got sick off the snack bar food. The entertainment was ok but could have been better being at the riu. The ongoing construction during the day was a let down it was hard to relax while hearing all the construction noise and we still paid full price for the trip. Yes, everything was perfect, except the noise and construction dust - because they renovate the main building & we had the room & balcony very near to the main site, so it was realy loud & often dusty during our vacation! The most beautiful is always the water, beach, also the pool & the arounds are very clean We were in Riu Palace for the 3rd time & like the stay very much!!! Hope the next time will be without any noise, dust & any renovations!!!
