A perfect pllace when you love to go out in a neighbourhood crowded with restuarants and eateries of reaaly any kind. 5 Minutes from the Shinkansen station and surrounded bz all kinds of shopping experiences. The breakfast is really incredible.

Tiny room

Small breakfast room is with cordial stuff. The hotel counter is almost automated with not cordial stuff. Room is tiny, Second person on the bed has no easy access to bathroom because of its tininess.

Very friendly hotel. The staff can speak English quite well which is always a bonus when you are in Japan. I like the library cafe where guests can have a coffee or heat up their dinner at eat at the table. Good place for business trave or short stay

Great place! Very convenient from Niigata train station, several eateries nearby. 15min bus ride to sado island ferry. Small but Clean room. Reception is very helpful too. I asked the manager if he can help me call the nearby rental car services for availablity, but there was no pick up of phone. So he helped to carry my luggage to the car rental shop to rent car

Staff were excellent, helpful with a smile. WiFi was consistent, secured, and strong. They had notes typed in English ready with the basics of laundry, wifi, breakfast hours, etc. Very handy. The hotel is easy walking distance from the train and the bus station, where you can catch one or both of the loop line buses which go to major attractions. Do not miss the aquarium, right on the sea of Japan. The bed was good and they offer "eco" service, with just trash removed daily and fresh towels left by your door for your use if you need same. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a nice variety. The breakfast room can get crowded, but the efficient staff kept the food well supplied. The room was small for two people with roll bags, but accurately described and pictured on Expedia website. Recommend this hotel

Better than expected

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Was quite impressed, rooms were clean and functional, not the largest but complimentary breakfast was included which we were not expecting as was not included in our booking. Very close to the train station also. Niigata itself is nice but not much to do but if I did go back I would stay here again if it was only a short stay.
