I was late for my check in due to driving 14 hours to get there. They never called me to tell me that they were canceling my reservation. I ended up having to pay double to re-register and have a place to stay. When we got our key card and were finally going to our room, there was someone sleeping in our room!! I was so scared and we absolutely scared the person sleeping in our room. We went to the front desk and the person nonchalantly said oh the room must be double booked. I was livid and demanded my money back. I felt so bad for the person that was already sleeping in the room. We scared him to death coming in his room in the middle of the night. What if he thought he was getting robbed and attacked us or worse yet shot at us? So unbelievably unsafe. They should be reported and shut down. The rooms look nothing like the pictures online and Expedia should take them down. I never did receive my refund. I’m still hopeful that I’ll get it! The hotel or shall I say the motel said that Expedia would be the one that had to issued the refund. This is absolutely a terrible place. You should spend the extra, but will actually save you money in the long run, on an Airbnb. I’m disappointed in Expedia and never go to this hotel.
