Encantadora casa de huéspedes de un dormitorio frente al mar

Esta casa de campo recientemente renovado de una habitación está situado en una comunidad tranquila llamada Banks O'dee. Situado a una hora de DC y cerca de bodegas y Virginia histórico.

La casa en sí ofrece una vista de Cuckold Creek y Perry Branch. Tenemos un gran muelle que se comparte con nuestra casa al lado, rampa de barco y nadar en el muelle.

Usted encontrará una abundancia de vida silvestre aquí. No es raro estar sentado en el patio, cerca del muelle, y ver águilas calvas, águilas pescadoras, cisnes y gran garza azul haciendo su cosa. Con frecuencia, usted verá ciervos de pie a lo largo del lado de Banks O 'Dee Road.

I thought it might need tongs for flipping the bacon at breakfast.It was very well stocked otherwise and clean.Very happy with our stay and super quiet and safe.

5th time here, and it did not disappoint, as usual!! The setting is perfect, with lots of areas to unwind and of course, the waterfront dock is the highlight! Super comfy sectional for stretching out after a long day and the large bathroom and living areas definitely make for a surprising amount of space indoors!! The owners Tina and John ( and their little dog too…) are 5 Star welcoming and bring their own personality to the place since they live in the house next door. Just a special property with built in perks at every turn! We’ll be back for visit #6, Lord willing next year! Can’t say enough good things!!

This was my third time staying here. Beautiful home on the river. Caught plenty of fish and crab. Home is incredibly clean and cozy. Tina is quick to answer any and all questions. Will definitely be back. Thanks!

This is a comfortable place with a lovely view. It was easy to launch our kayaks and we really enjoyed our time on the water. The location is great and the neighborhood is peaceful. Our dogs love to swim and they had a great time, too!

This place is so cute and very peaceful. Great spot to unwind and just relax. Bird watched everyday. Kayaked, fished, and more. Sat on the dock and just watched and listened. Tina and John are the nicest people. They helped us so much.

Very relaxing and quiet

My husband and I stayed here on our way back to Long Island after a family wedding. The house was very clean and just right for the two of us. A little hint going forward, pick up any food you need at LaPlanta. There are only small markets close to the house and are quite pricey. If you are looking for a relaxing leave the world behind place to stay, this is the place for you.

So peaceful

The location was perfect for us for a few days to get away. Being on the water was perfect. We loved being able to bring our fur babies with us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Tina was a great host. We hope to go back again.

Great getaway location.

We enjoyed our stay at the waterfront cottage with yoga on the dock in the morning, afternoon kayaking and dinner at Captain Billy’s Seafood restaurant. Down time spent reading and nature watching made the for the perfect weekend.

Beautiful Cottage

We came to the cottage so we could attend a motorcross event at BuddsCreek. The location was close and the property was amazing. My son was able to come back from riding to relax with his fishing pole. He had so much fun on the dock. Thank you for opening up your cottage and allowing us to have a wonderful weekend.

A perfect riverfront retreat!

We had the most magical weekend stay at this charming riverfront house. The view was absolutely breathtaking—watching the last rays of sunlight from the screened porch felt like pure serenity. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated in a simple, elegant way that instantly put us at ease. Every detail was thought through—from gleaming clean dishes to every kitchen gadget imaginable (yes, even a Kuraje coffee maker and a funky outdoor stove!).What truly made this stay unforgettable was the warm, welcoming energy of the owners next door. Normally, that might feel intrusive, but they were more like friends we hadn’t met yet—there if needed, never in the way. Their sweet, well-mannered son even taught us how to fish (at our request!), and they welcomed our little puppy like one of their own.The peaceful, joyful energy they bring fills the entire space, and the surrounding neighborhood is just as dreamy—lined with stunning homes and views that make you stop and stare. We left feeling refreshed, connected, and already dreaming of our next visit to this little slice of heaven on earth.

Couples trip

Waterfront Cottage

Everything was perfect! Having a boat dock in backyard was awesome! Our hosts were awesome and very accommodating! Really didn’t need anything extra! To wake up walk out into screened porch for morning coffee and watch nature was perfect! We will definitely be back!
