Renovations only to lobby and pics are misleading

We arrived a little after 8 pm I waited about 10 mins for someone to appear and check us in. The hotel itself just looks seedy lots of people who look sketchy or stay there long term. It’s pet friendly so expect animal waste along the grounds. We opened our bathroom after check in to a toilet that took 6 tries to flush one movement and gnats flyi mg from the room. Toilet paper holder falling out of the wall. The fan blew this musty smell into the room during our stay. Overall didn’t feel safe or warranted to even if I had no other option to stay here again.

The room was clean and had a full fridge and burner, although we didn't use it. The pool was nice and clean. The hotel was very convenient to the interstate, shopping, and dining. We felt safe here. Every staff member we spoke with were nice and helpful. We'll probably stay here again!

So not worth the money

The beds were like sleeping on a tin can. When you moved on them they would pop like a crushed soda can. When we turned on water to make a bath the tub was so dirty the water turned grey. The water that my grand child splashed on the floor when I wiped it up the towel turned black from the dirty floor. We found empty wrappers stuffed in crevices in the room as well.

Appreciated the convenience of our room to parking, pool and the lobby. Many food options nearby with a Cracker Barrel next door. Room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Bed and pillows were just right. Was nice to have fridge, coffee and microwave in the room. The continental breakfast was adequate consisting of waffles, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee. It was a nice option to have. Not a fancy stay but it did have everything we needed at a fair price.

Pillows were worn, old, and yellow beneath the pillow slip. The bathroom floor around the toilet had pee spray marks. I carry bacteria wipes, so I wiped the floor myself! Bed was comfortable! No towel racks to hang towels, no light to turn on when entering the room, had to find a lamp/light to turn on.

Great for the price

The exterior is kind of dated, but stayed in a room overlooking the courtyard. Pool area is actually quite nice. Room was mostly updated, new furniture, new flooring, with the exception of the bathroom. Older tub, older fixtures. But the location is awesome. Half the price of other area hotels, 1/4 the price of staying in French quarter and an easy 40 minute drive into the city.
