Condo with fantastic location overlooking the river

Great property with easy walking distance to downtown bars, restaurants and a short distance from Gruene Hall. Balcony overlooking the river. Great property and amazing location. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Amazing & Fun Location

Exceptional place to stay! The property was gorgeous. So many great outdoor options. Float the river, dive in the pool, walk to the park, or hang out on the property. The condo was clean & the perfect size! Highly recommend for families to stay at this location. We’ll definitely be back again!

Exceeded our expectations……

The check in staff were very helpful and efficient. The location of the condos, right on the river yet close to the town center and float facilities and amenities. The condo itself was sparkling clean, snd so nicely decorated. It exceeded our expectations & we would definitely stay there again. The pool, hot tub and access to the river were great. Plenty of grills and picnic tables by the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Perfect stay

We loved the condo and loved being right on the river. We will definitely be back! The pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. The only complaint I would have, and it wasn’t even that big of a deal, was the pool pump equipment was kind of noisy sitting on our balcony. We couldn’t hear it in our condo though, so it wasn’t a big deal.

Stay on the Comal

Overall it was a great experience. The property was clean and the check in process was easy. You do pay a cleaning fee but then they ask you to do a few chores before you check out to help the cleaning crew. Go figure. But, you have direct excess to the Comal, plus a swimming pool and hot tub at your disposal. We would definitely stay there again.

I have rented several units from them over the years and have never been disappointed. The River Run property is beautiful and well kept. I loved the large lawn area next to the river with picnic tables and grills. The condo was beautiful, the bedrooms and the balcony were very spacious.

Great area but the home is very tight and small

The actual property location is amazing. Love the grounds and right next door to Texas Tubes. This home is pretty cute however it only truly sleeps 4 people max for decent sleep. Or I’d say 2 adults and 2 kids comfortablly. The pull out chairs are not considered sleep worthy they don’t lay flat or level. This would be amazing stay for 4 people but we had 7 and it was really bad for room and comfort. It is also located at the top level and furthest from the elevator so coming and going is a true effort. Nothing bad to say just should say maximum 4 adults. Overall nice stay.

A relaxing stay by the river

Reviewer Comments: Probably the best aspect of this condo is the balcony. It was large and the view was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the living area was adequate. The coffee maker is needing a replacement. It is very small and doesn’t keep the coffee warm. Overall the condo was bright and very comfortable. We had an issue with the pressure washer that was on during the entire last week of our stay. It was so loud that we were unable to use the balcony.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoy staying at the river run condo's. The location is prefect and super close to the river! The only negative part of our stay was the beds. The condo stated it slept 8, the fold out couch was broken, the 2 chairs that folded into a twin size bed were very uncomfortable to where the support bars could be felt in them, as for the queen size beds in each room they were also very uncomfortable. I will come back to river run but we will stay in a different condo next time

Good place to stay, only a couple compliants

Overall it was a good trip, but that's mostly because two of our 8 backed out. The pull out chair beds are way too small for an adult to sleep on and one of them is located in the master bedroom which is weird. The beds themselves were super uncomfortable, the one in the front room was as stiff as a board and our friends who stayed in the master complained to us about how uncomfortable theirs was as well. I'd just like to reiterate, we had a great time and it was a good trip. I just don't think I would book this unit with 8 adults again; everything else is wonderful I'm just listing complaints I wish I was more aware of prior to booking.

Fantastic location!

We rented this specific condo strictly for its private access to the comal river before the tube chute. The maximum number of guests is 8, and they only provide the 8 wristbands to be allowed in the complex. They also provide 2 parking passes, so only 2 cars may park inside of the complex. There is a small amount of street parking along the perimeter of the complex, but you’d definitely have to claim those early before they’re either coned off or taken by others. They had a handful of carts that free to use to bring all of your bags/food/drinks, etc upstairs and an elevator that didn’t ever seem to get crowded. We rented 2 separate condos and there was a total of 16 of us. The pool does close at 11pm, and it got pretty packed after 4pm or so. We went on a weekend in June, and it was very busy but there was plenty of room for all of us to drop into the river without a wait. There’s also a security guard at the gate monitoring traffic 24/7. Overall, this was a fantastic trip and I would rent here again. This particular renter had us pick up our checkin packet/wristbands/parking passes at the offsite office, which is only a couple miles away. This specific listing shows that there are 2 chairs that fold out to twin sized “beds”, but they were almost impossible to sleep on. They were so uncomfortable, basically like laying on the floor, and one of them folded so far that it made your back curve like a mountain. Additionally, there were a few dusty/unkept areas due to unmoved furniture when cleaning. Not a super big problem but we had to sleep on the floor, so that didn’t feel too good. They were very well stocked with essential items like towels, shampoo/conditioner, pots/pans, etc.
