Carriage Haus in the heart of downtown Nevada City

Hello! Please read entire listing before booking 😀
Moonrise on Mill St.'s charming 1890's Carriage Haus is situated 1/2 block off Broad St. right in downtown.
You'll love the unique charm of this Mid-Century and Bohemian designed home that come together to create a peaceful space to enjoy some time away in the Sierra Foothills hiking or swimming in the Yuba.
Features a comfortable queen-size bed on the top floor with soft linens and plenty of pillows, as well as a spacious living room perfect for lounging and enjoying a book or a movie. Fully stocked kitchen, and bathroom. There is a queen pull out on the 2nd floor (living room).
We are 1 block from the Miner's Foundry and two blocks from the National Hotel/Lola's.

A couple things to note:
-In addition to the queen bed in the bedroom, we have a pull out memory foam queen sofa sleeper that is best for 2 kids or 1 adult in the living room
-House does not come with a parking spot. Street parking only.
-House has two flights of stairs (see photos). Bathroom is on the bottom floor and bedroom is on the top floor.

-Dogs are only allowed with prior consent from host. An agreement to dog rules and non-refundable dog fee will be requested of you! Please mention you will be bringing a dog when you book with us. No cats, please!
-There is a $30/ night fee for any additional people over 4.

Note: We have a 3 bedroom that sleeps 7 that is on the same property. Both units are great for wedding parties & friend & family get togethers!

Prime Location

The property is centrally located, easy walk to bars, restaurants and shopping. It was nicely decorated and spotless, perfect for what we were looking for. Worth noting that there is no dedicated parking spot and sometimes street parking can be a little hard to come by. Also, the unit is 3 floors, with the bathroom and kitchen on the 1st floor and the bedroom on the top floor. So just be prepared for that. Not a problem for us, but might be for less mobile renters. All in all a great stay, Jess was extremely responsive and Nevada City is an awesome little town.

Wedding Weekend

We came into town for a wedding. The house is situated close to the main road with shops and restaurants but it’s tucked away so that it’s private and quiet. Very easy to walk everywhere. The home was cozy and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jess!

Cool Place

Great location, comfortable surroundings, pleasant, communicative property manager. Because of our ages-old- I made a poor decision about our abilities. The bathroom downstairs and the bedroom two flights up, was hard for us. Otherwise, it was a cool place.
