We stayed here for one night on our way from Spain to England. The location is beautiful with lovely grounds surrounding the property. A real bonus! The staff were kind and friendly and the room, a family room with a double bed and two singles, had the benefit of the two singles (actually a double and a single) being in a separate, adjoining room. Perfect for our two teenage children. The rooms were basic but very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept extremely well. The whole property, actually a series of separate buildings, felt a bit like an abandoned boarding school, but not in a bad way, just a little unusual. We presumed that they mainly cater for large groups. We dined in the restaurant, which has a set menu. The food was tasty and the young man who waited on us was delightful. We also had breakfast the following morning with delicious croissants, yoghurt, brioche, meats and cheeses and jams and honey. Good coffee and a selection of juices and an equally delightful young lady to help with anything we needed. All in all it was an extremely comfortable and beautiful place to stay. The location was the perfect stop over distance and we would all be very happy to stay again.

On arrival property appeared closed and is set within a nursing home. Restaurant closed, bar closed. Host breath smelt of cigarettes!!! Not a hotel to choose!

TrÚs bel endroit avec une équipe géniale. Il y a une aire de jeu, une bibliothÚque, un bar une piscine couverte, des parcours de santé, un lac des animaux, des ùnes... Point négatif la chambre pour 1 personne est vraiment exiguë, la table de travail est minuscule et le lit est une place. Privilegiez une chambre double!

Manque de personnel !

Un accueil parfait mais un service dĂ©plorable surtout au bar ou le serveur est inexistant trĂšs fort pour la parlotte mais qui ne bouge mĂȘme pas le petit doigt pour aider son collĂšgue du restaurant . Celui-ci devait ĂȘtre Ă  son premier jour car il nous a fait de la peine pendant tout le service et pourtant menu unique et on ne sait toujours pas le prix du repas. Aucun choix !!!

Prima locatie voor overnachting op doorreis!

Met ons gezin hier overnacht op doorreis naar Zuid Frankrijk. Locatie was op dat moment niet druk bezocht. Vriendelijk ontvangst door receptioniste, die zelfs wat woorden Engels sprak. Mooie groene locatie met veel ruimte om de gebouwen. Voor onze kinderen heerlijk om even te rennen na een dag in de auto. Zwembad helaas om 19u gesloten. Onze kinderen hadden graag nog even gezwommen na het avondeten. Restaurant gesloten voor diner, dat was tevoren bij ons niet bekend. Inrichting van de kamers wat ouderwets, maar dat past juist in de sfeer van het gebouw. Een mooi landhuis met brede houten trappen. Kamer verder van alles voorzien: airco, badkamer, separaat toilet, tv, minikoelkast, kluisje, bureautje. En vooral alles netjes schoon!

Je n’ai pas du tout apprĂ©ciĂ© le fait que l’agent d’accueil me ne me prenne pas au sĂ©rieux en me donnant une chambre 1 piĂšce 1 lit simple alors que j’avais payĂ© pour une chambre 2 piĂšces un lit double et un lit simple. Ce n’est qu’aprĂšs ĂȘtre revenu deux fois Ă  l’accueil que j’ai fini par avoir une chambre deux piĂšces mais malheureusement c’était encore avec deux lits simples et lorsque je suis sorti de ma chambre pour demander Ă  en changer Ă  nouveau, l’accueil Ă©tait fermĂ©. Ces changements m’ont fait perdre plus de 30 minutes. J’avais clairement l’impression d’avoir Ă©tĂ© menĂ© en bateau et escroquĂ© car comme j’étais seul on ne voulait pas me donner la chambre que j’avais pourtant rĂ©servĂ©e. Par ailleurs l’état gĂ©nĂ©ral de l’établissement est trĂšs mĂ©diocre c’est vieillot. Les volets de la chambre ne peuvent pas se fermer est-ce normal? Je ne pense pas. Pas de savon pour les mains. La tĂ©lĂ©vision est un Ă©cran Ă  peine plus grand que celui d’un ordinateur se trouvant Ă  l’autre bout de la chambre. Le personnel n’est pas accueillant et n’est pas pro du tout. On ne m’a pas indiquĂ© comment rentrer ou sortir de l’établissement aprĂšs la fermeture de l’accueil. J’ai tentĂ© Ă©galement de joindre le numĂ©ro de permanence, j’attend toujours qu’on me rappelle
 Quant au petit dĂ©jeuner, c’est trĂšs mĂ©diocre pour le prix

Cet établissement est trÚs confortable et bénéficie d'un environnement exceptionnel. Néanmoins de gros progrÚs sont à faire en terme d'accueil : impossible de joindre l'établissement par téléphone, seul le répondeur semble fonctionner et les messages ne sont pas suivis d'effet. Une personne de l'accueil devait venir nous aider à résoudre un problÚme technique dans notre chambre, nous ne l'avons jamais vue et quand je suis retournée à l'accueil voir ce qu'il en était j'ai trouvé porte close. Enfin le lendemain midi j'ai été appelée pour m'informer que je n'avais pas rendu la chambre à midi comme prévu alors que j'avais restitué la clé à 7h30.... Je tiens toutefois à préciser que le reste du personnel tant au restaurant qu'au bar a été trÚs serviable et compétent et que la chambre était trÚs confortable Autre point négatif : la situation de l'établissement sur maps est erronée. Venant à pied par le GR31, aucune signalétique ne nous a permis de nous orienter.
