The apartment was impeccable in every way! Sofa and beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped and the decor beautiful and quaint! Finally the area was very quiet and serene with beautiful mountain views! A definite gem!

Came for an overnight stay with my 83-year-old mom who has never stayed in a VRBO home. This was an excellent first experience! Marnie was warm and welcoming, prompt with communication about stairs and accessibility, and has maintained a perfect space. Took her recommendation for breakfast in town and had a delightful experience.

Nelson was wonderful, and Marnie's VRBO was perfect for our stay. Marnie has thought of everything to create a beautiful and comfortable space to relax and enjoy yourself. Excellent location, quiet neighborhood.

My friends and I were in town to ride at Whitewater. Marnie was very helpful and communicative as we worked through some logistics before our arrival. The apartment was clean, well equipped for our cooking needs (including sharp knives!), and her home roasted coffee was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet, and was well positioned for an easy drive to the mountain, and a nice, manageable walk back from town. I will look forward to coming back to stay again!

Comfortable and close to everything

We loved this spot! It's in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Nelson, a short drive from the shops and activities. The radiant heat keeps every corner of the unit cozy during winter. We look forward to coming back.

Marnie and her family, welcomed us into their “home” as if we were family. Marnie, went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The suite is very clean, fresh and well equipped. The location is perfect for the short trip into Nelson or for an excursion to the surrounding area. We are so pleased we found this gem. We will be back next year!

Escape city chaos

This home is beautiful. Simple, modern, bright and clean. It is nestled back in a quiet neighborhood just outside of town with a sweet outdoor spot where you can soak in the sun and the views. All that being said, the highlight of this property are the owners! Not only did they provide freshly roasted coffee and popcorn, but when Marnie heard it was my husband’s birthday, she left us a special treat in the refrigerator. She was quick to answer questions and share information about the area.,.yet was respectful of our privacy as well. Truly, the best host experience we have had. We hope to return during ski season!

Bright and beautiful!

We loved our stay here! There are windows and views everywhere. You’re at the top of a hill. We loved sitting at the table, surrounded by flowers in the front yard. The kitchen is beautiful and the whole place is impeccable and feels brand new. We were on a biking trip and so happy to do our laundry with wonderful lavender laundry detergent provided. Our host was so friendly and helpful. We don’t drink coffee so she actually surprised us with a can of hot chocolate! I would definitely stay there again if I was in beautiful Nelson.
