Welcome to Lakeside Lodge at Pinewood, a peaceful log home retreat on the shores of Lake Petenwell. Start your day with coffee by the water or a morning kayak, then spend your time biking, boating, or simply enjoying the beautiful lake. In the evening, fire up the grill and relax around the fire pit. Whether you're here for adventure, quiet relaxation, or family time, Lakeside Lodge is the perfect place to unwind and make lasting memories.

Guests have full, private access to the home and the surrounding outdoor spaces during their stay, including the deck, fire pit, grill, and other outdoor amenities. Guests are also welcome to use the kayaks, water toys, and life jackets where provided.

Please note that the shoreline is owned by Wisconsin River Power Company, and the path along the lake is public property that is open for walking and hiking. A sandy beach with easy lake access is just a short walk north of the cabin and can be used for launching or pulling up your boat during the day.

Restricted areas, including the owner's closet and mechanical room, are not available for guest use.

PONTOON RENTALS

Want to spend the day on Lake Petenwell? Pontoon rentals are available through The Lure at Barnum Bay Marina, located just across the lake.

Approximately $400/day or $250 for a half day (pricing subject to change)

REFUNDS
- Refunds are governed by our cancellation policy. Any refund issued will be reduced by a credit card processing fee of up to 4%, which is non-refundable.

Shoreline Information

The shoreline in front of the cabin is owned by Wisconsin River Power Company. The path along the lake is public land and is open for walking and hiking.

A nice sandy beach is just north of the cabin and only a short walk from the backyard. The shoreline there is free of rocks, making it a great place to launch your boat or pull up during the day. Because the wind on the lake can change quickly, we recommend not leaving your boat unattended.

Please keep in mind that overnight docking is not allowed at the beach. Boats should be put back on the trailer each evening. There is plenty of room at the cabin to park your trailer, and the public boat launch at Wilderness Park is only a few minutes away.
