This is not a typical hotel room. It is large and roomy. It has a kitchenette and the bedroom is upstairs. The staff was very professional and very helpful. We found that the shower leaks water all over the floor which may have been a recent issue due to a recent minor earthquake. There was two very noisy parties in the courtyard during our stay. Both nights included fireworks being set off at midnight.

We loved our short stay at Villa Avellino. The rooms are wonderful (except for the shower which needs to be redone as it is rusted at places and some of the fixtures are broken). The location is excellent if you want to explore by foot.

This beautiful medieval villa was a perfect destination. The building and its grounds are breathtaking ! The courtyard is the perfect place to enjoy the delicious included breakfast or a lemon cello spritzer in the afternoon. Our room was actually a suite with an enormous private terrace. A stay at Villa Avellino is a dream come true!

Great experience.

The property and room was amazing. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment and everythingvwas great with the execption of the front door lock which was very hard to open and close with key. Also, the second floor bedrooms have a skylight window which has no curtains to close so the sunlight comes in early in the morning and during the day which makes the second floor very hot. Also, i strongly recommend coffee available if you are going to have a coffee maker in the kitchen. Overall was great.
