Perfect family summer getaway!!

Please note pool is closed in the off season starting first week of October; opening in Spring for memorial weekend.

Please note also that the property manager Sandy lives adjacent to the property. She is always available to deal with any questions you have during your stay and will meet you upon your arrival. Sandy lived in Thailand and studied Thai massage and has been practicing Thai massage both on island and in Boston and Providence for over 15 years. So treat yourself and book a massage with her during your stay!

Regarding Car Ferry Tickets:
We know that our guests may plan their Nantucket holiday to coincide with their ferry reservations. The Steamship Authority Headstart Reservation Program opens in January and allows us to book a limited number of transferable ferry reservations.

Stayed here multiple times and can't say enough about the hospitality from the owner and caretaker! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, private and the little touches that take it from a rental to a home. the house itself is wonderful for families or multiple couples and the location is ideal as it's tucked back into a private area and has easy access to the beaches, town or Meat and Fish if you plan on staying in. The details, finishes, cleanliness, amenities are perfect. All around, an ideal getaway to ACK!

This is the perfect place to stay on Nantucket! It has all of the amenities - amazing pool, top of the line kitchen, beautiful furniture, large bedrooms, and a back deck to lounge on for days. Josh and his team were so easy to rent from - we will definitely be back!

What a great vacation rental!!!

I highly recommend 8 Micheme Lane for a wonderful vacation home. It was a pleasure to meet Josh in person and he's a wonderful communicator and his place is really nice. As my son said, even the toilet paper is top notch! The appointments won't leave anyone with desires and its central location, privacy, pool etc were the perfect getaway. I highly recommend Josh and this property and hope to stay there again in the future.

everything you need to really cook in the kitchen. great location easy bike ride anywhere. pool was well kept, lots of water toys. clean spacious rooms and great bathrooms. over all one of the best rentals we have experienced

Weekend trip

We had such a great time at Josh’s home. Beautiful home with an awesome backyard perfect for a relaxing afternoon by the pool. The home has a great location and an easy trip to town / restaurants nearby. We hope to stay here again.

Perfect Girls weekend

Our stay at Josh ‘s property was even better than we expected! While we originally were hoping to be a little closer to town, we really enjoyed our time at the house and found it easy to get around and ventured to local shops/coffee and breakfast. Neigbors were friendly and the pups next door even friendlier ❤️The house is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Communicating before and during our stay was a breeze. We weren’t able to take advantage of the pool because it was a bit off season but all of the other amenities made it the perfect stay.

Beautiful Home and Perfect Location

On Nantucket for the very first time for our daughter’s wedding, this home suited us and our adult children and their spouses perfectly. It was spacious, immaculate and welcoming. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Plus, enough bathrooms for all of us to get ready for the rehearsal and wedding festivities simultaneously. The pool and fire pit were the icing on the cake! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the wedding was magical. Josh and Sandy could not have been nicer. A sincere thank you to both for their time, attention and kindness. The property is quiet and peaceful but close to everything. Again, just perfect.

Beautiful house, very convenient location

We had a great weeklong stay with our three kids (7, 9, and 12) and my in-laws. The house is very nice and has a great patio, outdoor shower and pool. It's walking distance to one of our favorite markets and other shops and close to several beaches. Both the owner and on-site property manager could not have been nicer/more helpful. We will definitely be back!

Another GREAT Stay

I've reviewed this property in the past and the best part is...it's like a moment in time that just gets better. You can't ask for much more than a very attentive owner/property manager in Josh and Sandy. The house is always immaculate upon entering thanks to a swift cleaning crew and a personal walk through by the owner/property manager to ensure everything is up to their standards. The fresh flowers greeting you is always a nice touch not to be overlooked. The amenities of the house leave you wanting for nothing...surround sound, games, fully appointed kitchen, beach toys, towels, etc. In terms of location, everyone has their own preferences but for us this is perfect as you're walking distance from Nantucket Steak & Fish, a short drive to Surfside, Brewery and Town and it's on a quiet street at the end abutting nothing but nature. I don't have anything critical to share about the property, it's a slice of tranquility on a special island.

Peaceful but centrally located vacation home!

This modern and spotless home with beautiful pool and fire pit seating area is well situated in the middle of the island, only about 2 miles from Surfside Beach, and about 3 miles from Miacomet Beach. You can also drive to town in 10 minutes or less. The master suite was very luxurious and spa-like. A great place to maximize your Nantucket stay!!

Ultimate Nantucket vacation rental!

We rented Josh's home for 4 weeks during summer 2022. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the home. It was immaculate, well-maintained and had every amenity that you might need on a vacation. Our children loved the pool and the grill/deck/outdoor space was perfect for late-afternoons after the beach. The mid-island location is perfectly situated for easy access to south-side beaches and town; and is a stone's throw from Nantucket Meat & Fish when you don't feel like facing the parking lot scene at Stop & Shop. We had such a great time. We can't wait to return in summer 2023.
