Great!

My wife and I stayed here with our 2 children. We had a great time. Everything we needed was available. Location is great as well. Beds were comfortable. Property manager was really nice and was always there if we had a problem or questions. We utilized 2 of the pools, and both of them were heated and clean. Elevators worked very fast, and the beach is literally just steps away. We can not wait to come back!

I have been to Myrtle Beach many times and have driven by the Caravelle Resort many times. However, I never ever noticed that there was a smaller lime green building tucked to the side and behind the main Caravelle Resort that is apparently included as a part of the "Caravelle Resorts". I could not find my assigned room number in the main resort when I arrived which is when I realized that my room was in the smaller lime building. The building is covered with rust and is clearly worn down. It is not a Modern Caravelle Resort by any means. And the interior of this condo is very small and to me smelled like smoke. When I complained, the property manager, who lives there, said that the owners were due for an assessment soon which would help to fix the place up. Well, I had booked a 2 week stay.. and disliked it so much that I DID NOT stay there. I had my two dogs with me and was really looking forward to the stay but did not even want them to stay there. This is the second VRBO stay that I have booked where I feel the pictures are misleading and do not truly show everything that you should know. Ex) the pools shown in the description or at the main resort. Ex) the towels and bedsheets that are used to cover the windows (vs. blinds) on the units facing the ocean make the building look extremely trashy. ex) professional lighting must have been brought into the unit for these pictures as it is not that bright in there.
