Wonderful Week!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A perfect family vacation. The access to the beach is easy, the house is decorated tastefully beachy, the improved deck was great. We had a couple of issues that were handled promptly. My only complaint would be the refrigerator. The house could really use an icemaker. We were a large group and no way could the icemaker keep up. Minor complaint to a beautiful week!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The size and layout of the house was great. We had 13 people and plenty of space. However, we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. The shower curtain liners were molded, the kitchen floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in weeks, and my 3 year old had to wear shoes the entire time because the first night she walked barefoot across the living room and ended up with black feet. Had a stopped up sink in the first floor bathroom, called the office and no one ever showed up to fix it. Great house, if it was properly cleaned.

The beach access was amazing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. However, the downstairs room was unuseable. There were large black bugs and mice. Luckily, some of our party was unable to come, so we could move those people upstairs with us. The upstairs was very clean.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We asked for the ice maker to be checked. Noone ever came for that. We were unable to watch movies in the living room due to age of tv and no vcr player. We called about this and someone brought us a vcr, but it was unable to conntect to tv due to age of TV. There were some large black bugs in the house. Loved the location and lay out of house. There were 10 ladies for 1/2 of the week and 8 for the entire week. would love to rent it again if TV is updated and ice maker works better. Also on website, it showed a nice chair and ottoman and a couch on porch. Neither of these were there

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in a nice location, but that is about the only good thing that can be said about it. The owner obviously never stays here, because this is the most neglected and outdated home I have ever rented at the beach. The house needs to be totally gutted and updated. The furniture is old and uncomfortable, the carpet is filthy, the downstairs bedroom is completely filthy, damp, and smelly. The home is obviously just plain neglected. The landscaping has not been touched in years, as the bushes and trees are completely overgrown. Thanks to the neglect, several forms of wildlife has made its home in the shrubbery of the backyard. Until this home is brought up to standard, Garden City Realty should not manage it for the owner. If you have already rented this unit for this year, you may want to see if you can get into another unit.

The worst thing about the house were the bugs, the beds very uncomfortable. Called about a problem never got a response back from staff. Despite the price and location we will never stay with Garden City Realty again.
