Very pretty house with lots of space for our big family. Really enjoyed the very long dining table, we could all sit together. Kitchen was well equipped with 2 dishwashers, plenty parking, and easy walk to the beach.

This house was amazing! My family had so much fun here. It was clean , well equipped with everything we needed! Perfect location and I highly recommend this property.

A perfect fit

The house was perfect for our group of 9. We stay in the area every year to celebrate New Years and always look for nice bedrooms with attached baths and a good kitchen as we cook the entire time. This home was well appointed with everything we need and the location was perfect. Will not hesitate to return.

There was 15 of us We get together once a year. The house was everything we needed it was spacious Everyone had their own bathroom it was big enough for us all to gather in the open dinning room and kitchen while even watching a football game We greatly appreciated our time. Thanks so much

Family Reunion

House was great for a large family group who required separate rooms . All bedrooms are well suited for a bit of privacy during nap time for younger crowd. The main table is perfect for dining for a large group. Upstairs deck a hidden gem. Pool served as gathering place after long days at the beach. We also appreciated 2 good restaurants within walking distance . Would stay again . DD

Location was outstanding. Beds were comfortable. House was open and roomy; great for family gatherings. There were some cleanliness issues and maintenance issues. One TV didn’t work, but then we weren’t there to watch TV. One bathroom’s shower curtain had mold on it. My brother fixed a lamp that was in need of repair. Door knobs and handrails were dirty. Flooring in living area needed to be redone ( areas that were taped) gaps?

Amazing Family Vacation Experience with great location!

My multi-generational family enjoyed our stay at this large well equipped home complete with wonderful pool, comfortable outdoor furniture to view the ocean and a great location to restaurants (across the street!). When we needed assistance, there was excellent communication and any concerns were resolved and addressed quickly - even with Hurricane Helene that week. Would love to rent again. And the extra package of chair set up, beach equipment and gas grill was perfect. Jen did a great job keeping things looking great outside. Thank you BASK for a great family vacation. - Heather

Wonderful beach front home

Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed staying at Marlin View !Everything we needed and wanted is there ocean front right across from two restaurants and the inlet. Great sunrise and sunsets . Enough rooms for your big group and plenty of room in living areas for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for everyone.Had a small issue getting in but was taken care of quickly. Don’t hesitate book it you will love it .

Rat Pack 2024

This weekend was a reunion of colleagues from 40 years ago. All are retired except one and our wives and girlfriends joined us for the first time. The house gave us the freedom to spread out, each couple having a private bedroom with ensuite. The kitchen was well-equipped. We prepared all our meals except one over three nights and 3 ½ days. The beach was 50 yards off the front porch allowing us easy access for winter walks and the sunrises and sunsets were everything we could have hoped for. Dolphin pods in the surf, horseback riders in the breaks, and relatively comfortable weather for a South Carolina February weekend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our large family has been gathering from multiple states for years to Garden City. This was our first experience with BASK Away. The people were friendly and responsive and easy to deal with. But the property fell short of what was advertised. The house needed a lot of work. Things that should have been done prior to our arrival. But the staff shared our concerns and promised the updates would be done to match what the house boasts.

The set up and size of the house was awesome and perfect for our large family! Parking was great! Our main complaint was that the property needs a good bit of attention/updating. We had a few issues.... microwave was broken, frig smelled like raw fish, carpet and den furniture was dirty, broken vent covers, screen blown out on porch, and the rest of the house/ some furniture needs major updating for the price of rental and expectations when compared with other "luxury" properties we have experienced. When issues were reported however, we did get a quick response from management company.

The pool was only used a few time due to weather but was a great extra feature! The house was a perfect set up with plenty of room to have family meals. We had an amazing time! It is off the beaten path so very private!! Short distance into Myrtle Beach. Bask away rental was very easy to work with. We had a couple issues (minor) on the day of check in. We messaged our contact person and everything was resolved early Sunday morning!! Every time we had to reach out to them they were very responsive in a timely manner!!!
