Cute house, great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The carpet needs replacing as well as the linoleum in the bathrooms but other than that the house was in great shape! We loved the front porch and the proximity to the beach! It was literally a 1 minute walk to the beach access.

We loved the porch and short walks to the beach. Dinner time was a little difficult, because chairs were hard. But made it work and joyed our stay.

Dirty and ants everywhere

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, things were not clean. The floor was not swept and bathrooms were not clean. There was no cleaning supplies to even remedy the situation. There was a layer of dust on everything and the vents were clogged with dust. In addition, the kitchen had limited cooking supplies. We were cooking with utensils that were so flimsy that if you stirred pancake batter it bent. Also, I made a cake for dessert and left it on the counter overnight covered with foil. When I returned in the morning it was literally covered in ants. The ants were everywhere in bathroom and kitchen. Also, halfway through the week, the A/C stopped working. Management came right away and fixed it though. We were happy to get back home offer after this stay.

We have our four grandkids and their parents with us. Total of eight and we want to be together. Perfect place for us has become “life is good on easy street”. Close to everything. Short walk to the beach. Very easy drive to any store,restaurant,or activity. Nice place well maintained. Family neighborhood. (Important to us). Garden city realty makes booking, check in and out painless as possible even with the obstacle of covid. Highly recommend fhis area and this realtor. No complaints. I would really have to dig to find one. 10 of 10.

Could’ve Been Alot Easier on Easy Street

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at Life is Good on Easy Street, we were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness for the showers/bathtubs. The master bedroom had a strong paint/chemical odor and paint was noticed peeling throughout the house and water damage spots on ceilings and walls. The first morning we tried to make breakfast and there were no spatulas, pans or pots. There were 2 small sauce pans and 1 larger saucepan. Nothing to cook an actual meal or breakfast. The rental company took care of that quickly with a full set of pots and pans and utensils for cooking. Smoke alarm issues. A few nights into our stay sometime after midnight, the queen bedroom window had rain pouring in from the top of the window which we called Garden city realty maintenance and they said put a towel down, the rain will stop soon. Noticed a lot of rotten wood and mold on the exterior, inside appeared to be a makeover gone poorly. Our daughter had to sleep in another bed that was unmade because of this issue. Another home rented through Garden City Realty a few down from us had an extremely loud group of partiers as well. We don’t know if they ever came to repair the window. That said, Garden City has beautiful beaches and we loved the area, Murrell’s Inlet, BrookGreen Gardens, excellent restaurants, Gilligan’s Island golf, Garden city Pier and more. We will definitely come back to the area.

It's very quiet and relaxing. We love sitting out on the porch of the evenings, after our walk on the beach. We also enjoyed the ice cream shop right next to the pier. Garden City is a great place to take your family for vacation. We will definitely be renting this house again.

Reviewer Comments: Furniture: Only having 2 deck chairs for a rental that can sleep six adults was not right.The dining room chairs were metal and very uncomfortable.There were two bedroom lamps without light bulbs.The two deck chairs that were there were excellent.The view was not good, looking right across the drive and left and right were same style homes within talking distance.Other than the above, the stay went well.

The appliances,living room chairs and bedding is worn out and needs to be replaced.For the price a good value. We saw the property was for sale so figured the home owner doesn't want to put any more money into the place.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is cute and has lots of charm in photos and from the outside. The inside needs lots of TLC. The furniture is horrible. The table was so wobbly my husband tightened all of the screws during our stay because we thought it was going to fall apart. The beds in the twin BR were also in horrible shape. One of the wicker chairs in living are were not usable. If you moved it made horrible noises that would wake up whole house, nor were the comfortAble. We had to buy pillows for all the beds, the ones there were stained and simply gross. Upon packing on our departure we noticed both kitchen and bathroom sinks were damp from dripping water. There was also a family of insects living in the also damaged toaster. The house needs a lot of TLC and a very deep clean. The location was great, but I would not rent this house again due to the above stated reasons. Our kids in the broke down twin BR, called the home "Life is ****".

Also, the bathroom that was shared between 2 rooms didn't have locks on the doors and this was problematic.
