I Love coming to this vacation spot. The only thing was that the hot tub was out of order and the showers outside from beach were not working proper. But still love coming here. Sometimes on ocean things happen and been to property for six years and this was the ONLY time we had some issues. But pool was still open and had a great time.

I love this hotel. When I come to the beach by myself -as I did with this trip- I feel safe, comfortable and appreciated as a guest here. Staff is friendly and rooms are always clean. When I leave to go shopping or to go grab dinner, I am familiar enough with the area to know just a few miles up or down the road I will find gas, groceries, or food. I will continue to stay here on future trips.

Our stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience overall. The property itself is beautiful, with a fantastic beachfront location and a well-maintained pool area that made for a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The on-site restaurant exceeded expectations—not only was the food excellent, but the staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive. There were, however, a couple of minor issues worth noting. The design of the shower made it quite difficult to use without water spilling onto the bathroom floor, which required extra towels to maintain safety and prevent slipping. Additionally, we experienced intermittent internet connectivity issues throughout our stay. Reliable service was only available on the balcony or in the pool area, which became inconvenient at night when we primarily needed access indoors. Despite these small inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would return again. The friendly staff, great amenities, and ideal location more than made up for the challenges.

Property is well updated from the previous days as 'The Clamdigger'. Hotel is all ocean front rooms with balconies, while the door to the room looks out through the hotel's glass front offering views of the inlet in the distance. Rooms are on the smaller side, but suffice, offering a mini-fridge, microwave and small coffee maker. Bathroom is tiny with the toilet being tucked inches between the shower and wall. The shower curtain will cling to you if it is not drenched with water first as it is not weighted. We stayed 3 nights in room 704 which is in dire need of a new mattress. The bed was by far the worst we've encountered traveling and left us glad we were only there for a short stay as longer would not have been bearable. Staff was great, we enjoyed speaking with several guys from Croatia who were always a delight. Onsite restaurant, Rising Tide Seafood, was delicious for lunch and dinner, which we did for 2 days. We did not try the breakfast "buffet" as we heard from other patrons that it was underwhelming for the price. Drinks at the Tiki bar were fabulous, Kelly was a great bartender. The hotel is dog friendly, we saw maybe 6 total, all well behaved. The beach chairs and umbrellas are first come, first serve, and go quickly once they are put out in the morning around 0800. All in all, we would stay again, but return with a mattress topper to be safe.

Crystal coast may have some of the best beach access and best values in Emerald Isle, but what really elevated this stay to the next level was the above-and-beyond customer service that this incredible staff went through for us. After a lovely stay, my daughter accidentally left behind a precious stuffed animal that she'd slept with since she was an infant. When it became clear that we'd arrived in Virginia without it, we called the hotel, and their response was incredible. A multi-day search ensued as people from the front desk, housekeeping, and management coordinated to leave no stone unturned. And when, miraculously, they found Bunny, they shipped it across the country for us without asking for an extra dime. I worked in the hotel industry for 15 years, and I know that some environments really do foster a culture of hospitality, and that some...don't. Crystal Coast Oceanfront will not only give you a nice room with direct access to the beach and proximity to great shopping and dining...they'll treat you like an honored guest with sincerity and compassion. 10/10, would visit again!

The staff was nice & accomodating. The lobby / restaurant was nicely decorated. A few cons for me...They only offered a breakfast buffet. The sheets were nubby & seemingly low quality. The showers are tiny, have visible mold on the walls, and in serious need of an update! The pool area was small but comfortable. Overall, the area is nice & being oceanfront is definitely a bonus but I would not stay here again. Oh, they also charged my card twice by accident. However, as soon as I caught it, they refunded me.
