Rathbun Lake es uno de los lagos más grandes y finos de Iowa con más de 11,000 acres de agua, 155 millas de costa, calas acogedoras y excelente calidad del agua. Esto, combinado con la hermosa madera de roble y nogal y miles de acres de praderas nativas restauradas, proporciona un entorno maravilloso para disfrutar del aire libre. Hay 21,000 acres de terrenos públicos que ofrecen natación, paseos en bote, caza, golf, senderos, ocho parques, puerto deportivo y parque de vehículos todo terreno. La cabina tiene una gran cubierta parcialmente cubierta en la parte delantera y un anillo de fuego en el patio trasero. Una cubierta también lo lleva por la puerta trasera, lo que le permite una total privacidad ya que está rodeado de madera por todos lados. La cabina también cuenta con lavadora y secadora, lavaplatos y refrigerador de tamaño completo, WIFI con Hulu en vivo y transmisión de películas. Se encuentra en dos lotes que bordean el lago Rathbun en la subdivisión de Antler Acres con acceso privado a un sendero para caminar hacia el lago.

Nice clean place for a vacation!

Perfect getaway

The home was beautiful and amazing . Quite , peaceful location . Amenities provided was wonderful . Love the barbecue, patio , and yard . The backyard fire pit was wonderful for s’mores . Relaxing and Comfortable

I stayed here with my mother and daughter- We enjoyed staying at the Deer Run Rental. We were in the area for a wedding at Emerald Hills Events so we were busy and didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked but I would absolutely return in the future. It felt very homey and comfortable inside with plenty of cooking supplies and a grill, comfortable beds, and even extra blankets and beach towels. Very quiet, lots of nature to see, the path down to the lake was beautiful we enjoyed wading and walking along the lake.

Great place close to Lake Rathbun

Excellent property close to Lake Rathbun. House was clean and in a nice area with easy access to get the boat to the boat ramp and plenty of room to park it in the evening.

Great stay! Close to boat ramp!

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a bday with family and friends. The cabin had everything we needed and the location was great. It was clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and etc. We really enjoyed it and plan to hopefully return next summer!

Great fishing get-away.

We found the home ready for us and well supplied with everything we needed. I appreciated the back-up propane tank for the grill as we needed it. Nice grill, by the way! Almost needed a stepstool to get in the bed! It was a fishing trip for myself and my three sons. Plenty of room to park the boat and two other cars. A less than 10-minute drive to the State Park boat ramp. Also brought two kayaks which we left hidden in the woods by the lake shore. No problems.

Nice Place

We liked the cabin. We loved how close to the shore of Rathbun Lake it is. Reasonable price for a getaway. The owner is exceptionally accommodating. Our original dates were going to have temperatures in the 100s. He allowed us to postpone so we could enjoy our vacation. Thank you so much Scott!!
