Can Llouquette

A beautiful place to stay with stunning views, lots of woods, wildlife and local walks. Swimming in the pool is great as the scenery is lovey. The owners are very welcoming and hospitable nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in Le Pommier which is small but cosy and has everything you need. Would highly recommend staying here, this is our second visit and we will come back hopefully next year.

We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery gorgeous swimming pool wonderful people and total relaxation of such a lovely place highly recommended for peace and serenity lots of great walks a beautiful lake not too far away and a comfortable place to stay

Fantastisch mooie en rustige locatie. Heerlijke tuin en zwembad met privé terras. Le Pommier is een heerlijk knus huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Simon en Ashley, youre the best!

Nach sehr herzlichen Empfang habe ich mit meinem Sohn eine wunderbare Woche verbracht. Man fühlt sich sofort wie ein Familienmitglied. Sowohl der Garten, als auch die Wohnung sind sauber, gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Mitten in der Natur bei fröhlichem Vogelgezwitscher findet man Erholung pur. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge, sehr gutes Essen und liebenswürdige, gastfreundliche Menschen wohin man kommt. top! Wir kommen gern wieder!

Best place we have ever been.

We found Can Lloquette to be a haven in France. Couldn’t say enough about our hosts, Simon and Ashley. The peace and relaxation we felt was restorative to say the least. The casual interactions with the other guests was also an informal but fun surprise for us. We loved meeting with guests from all around the world. Blue, the resident dog, is an exceptional piece de resistance to an authentic experience in the Pyrenees mountains of France. Visit this Mas at your peril, you won’t want to leave. Convenient to the Med and many other places. This is the real France!

A little something special

From the moment you drive into Can Llouquette, you know you're in for something pretty special. We arrived to a warm welcome and were quickly settled into Le Pommier, an apartment that opens out on to a lovely open view. A beautiful setting; a very high standard of accomomdation; friendly, knowledgeable and discreet hosts ... it's a lovely place to switch off and just be or as a base to explore the towns in the local area. A week just wasn't quite long enough.

Superb, superb, superb!

We could not have had a more splendid vacation. Can Llouquette is exactly what we needed. The property's gorgeous surroundings are something out of a postcard. We were finally able to relax and enjoy some tranquility. Simon and his family have really created a special place in this valley. Their advice for what to do in the area was excellent, and their hospitality was great. It was sad to say goodbye! Thank you for everything, we plan to return! -D Johnson

Just lovely, a real find.

We flew into Bezier and drove up. . The rural roads are windy but very easy and almost traffic free, and the views are spectacular. And when you arrive Can Llouquette is just lovely, a real find. Meticulously cared for, pool, garden, fields, river and the holiday cottages. Ours was an old apple store and beautifully refreshing on hot, hot days. It has a lovely terrace with BBQ and it was such a pleasure eating here listing to the birds and the stream. We really enjoyed the picnic tables at the river too. The area is breathtaking ... and there is so much within a short distance. If you are looking for a bucolic break, away from the crowds but with plenty to do for kids and adults in the vicinity, you'll do hard to find better.

Can Llouquette - eine Oase der Erholung

Can Llouquette ist ein Ort, um dem Alltagsstress zu entkommen. Absolute Ruhe, das Rauschen des Baches, unberührte Natur...ein Ort der Stille, zur Ruhe kommen, Entspannen und Kraft tanken. Wir haben uns durch die Infos der Vermieter im Vorfeld sehr gut informiert gefühlt. Die Fewo war sauber, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Eine eigene Terrasse mit Bänken, Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirm hat eine angenehme Privatsphäre geschaffen. Garten und Pool waren sehr gepflegt und laden zum Verweilen ein. Vielen Dank Ashley und Simon für Eure Herzlichkeit, die netten Gespräche, leckere Croissants und Baguettes, Eure Hilfsbereitschaft und Eure Gastfreundschaft! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wir kommen wieder!

Eine besonders schöne Woche im Herbst

haben wir in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Besitzer haben die alten Gebäude sehr schön, mit viel Liebe fürs Detail aber auch Sinn für die praktische Benutzung hergerichtet. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Wir haben nichts vermisst und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Wald (sehr ruhig und nachts sehr dunkel wodurch wir einen Sternenhimmel sehen konnten wie selten zuvor). Der persönliche Kontakt zu dem sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Besitzer hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns willkommen und wohl gefühlt haben. Wir werden sehr gern wieder hinfahren.

Amazing hospitality in a stunning setting

Simon and Ashley were the perfect hosts during our wonderful stay at Can-LLouquette. If you are after an über relaxing break in a beautiful corner of France with exceptionally knowledgable and hospitable hosts, then you would do well to find anywhere more suitable than here. The setting is stunning, and both the property and the expansive grounds are extremely well maintained making it very hard to leave the place everyday. However, on the days you do want to explore, the location is ideal for accessing the mountains, the coast, and everywhere in between. There is no shortage of interesting towns and villages to explore locally with lively markets etc. on both sides of the French / Spanish border. In short, highly recommended.

Traumhafte Tage im Paradies

Wunderschöner Ort mit reizenden, fürsorglichen Gastgebern. Morgens bekommt man noch warme Croissants und Baguette im Körbchen vor die Tür gelegt. Diese kann man dann auf der Terrasse geniessen. Die Ausstattung der Häuser ist sehr stilvoll und perfekt.Sogar eine Bettflasche für mal eine kühlere Nacht-wunderbar zum schlafen wenn die Tage im August heiß sind.- gibt es. Der Garten ist zauberhaft angelegt mit Brunnen unterm Feigenbaum. Der Pool schon am frühen morgen gepflegt. Man kann sich noch weiter in den Wald oder an den Fluss zurückziehen ohne weit gehen zu müssen. Die Küche hat alle Küchenutensilien, die man braucht und noch mehr. Das kleine Badezimmer ist sehr schön in mediterranem Stil eingerichtet und hat unendliches heisses Wasser. Wir waren sehr glücklich an diesem Ort und wollen unbedingt wiederkommen.

Ein einzigartiges Feriendomizil mit unaufdringlicher, herzlicher Gastlichkeit. Absolute Übereinstimmung mit Angebot und Realität. Riesiges Freizeitangebot im Umkreis vonn 50 km - Les Grandes Canalettes, Gorge de la Fou, Villefranche de Conflent, Ille-sur Têt, Argeles sur Mer, Les Tours de Cabrens sowie der Canigou sind absolut empfehlenswert zum Besuch. Höchster Erholungswert in unberührter Natur, die bei bestem Wetter zum Wandern einlädt.

idyllischer Urlaub

In einem kleinen Seitental des Tech fanden wir eine perfekt eingerichtete Wohnung mit wunderschönen Terrasse. Obwohl einsam und ruhig kann man schnell die umliegenden Naturschönheiten und pittoresken Orte erreichen. Die Betreuung durch die Wirtsleute Simon und Ashley war sehr herzlich, wir bekamen viele nützliche Tipps.

Wunderbare Entspannung

Wir haben eine wunderbar entspannte Woche in Can Lloquette verbracht. Das Haus liegt inmitten der Natur und bietet Erholung pur. Gerade mit Kindern - unser Sohn ist 2 Jahre alt - ist das geradezu ideal. Die Kleinen lieben den Garten und die Natur. Unten am Fluss gibt es Froesche zu bestaunen, man kann Daemme bauen und Boote schwimmen lassen. Die Wohnungen sind liebevoll eingerichtet und vermitteln einem ganz schnell ein Zuhausegefuehl. Unsere Gastgeber Ashley, Simon und deren Tochter Sophia haben uns aeusserst herzlich empfangen und so ihren Teil zu unserem entspannten Urlaub beigetragen. Wir hatten wirklich das Gefuehl, willkommen zu sein. Ashley und Simon haben auch immer einen Tip parat, was man in der Gegend unternehmen oder wo man lecker essen gehen kann. Wir kommen auf alle Faelle gerne wieder! Tobias, Julia und Jonas

Tucked away on a mountainside, is a lovely getaway

Thank you so much for a lovely time - we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We were in the Apartment, and it was beautifully kept up inside and the grounds were so much fun to explore. We had our 10 month old with us and he had a wonderful time too - it's very child friendly. Hope to see you again!

Montferrer - a place full of peacefullness.

We were enjoying the stay at Montferrer very much in june/juli 2010 and found right away our self in the middle of a place full of calm- & peacefullness. We have been many places in our summerhollidays during the years in europe but never have we found our self relaxing so much as in this beautiful environment. Beside that the accommodation at Can Llouquette had everything to make our stay a succesfull vacation We can only recommend to make this "jump" into the french Pyrenees. ;o) Best regards Bjørn, Malene & Julie Denmark

We just loved it

Zusammen mit unseren Freunden (insgesamt 4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) mieteten wir Studio und Apartment. Can Llouquette ist eine kleine Welt für sich. Eigentlich brauchten wir gar nichts anderes mehr, zwischen Toben im Pool, Entspannen auf der Wiese, Entdeckertouren auf umliegende Berge oder durch den "Dschungel" zum kleinen Bach, Katzenbabys beobachten, Esel zwischen den Ohren kraulen und gemütlichen Abenden mit lokalem Wein und Gitarrenmusik auf der Terrasse... Trotzdem haben wir natürlich auch das Umland erkundet, waren in Spanien, auf dem wunderschönen Markt unter Platanen in Ceret, zum musikalischen Donnerstag in Perpignan und am Strand in Collioure. Mittelalterliche Klöster, Burgen, alte Städte... es gibt so viel zu sehen. Ashley und Simon waren wunderbare Gastgeber und interessante Gesprächspartner, wenn es sich ergab (und die kleine Sophia hat mit ihrem Charme alle um den Finger gewickelt). Sie haben alles getan, damit wir uns wohl fühlen - und das ist ihnen gelungen! Wir sind abgereist mit dem Gefühl, bei Freunden zu Besuch gewesen zu sein. Danke! ---------------------- With our friends (4 adults, 2 children in all) we rented both, studio and apartment. Can Llouquette is a world of its own. We really didn’t need anything else ... from playing in the pool, lounging on the grass, little day trips to the nearby mountain or through the ‘jungle’ to the small brook, watching the kittens, tickling the donkey and relaxing evenings with a glass of local wine and sounds of guitar on the terrace... Naturally we went further afield ... were in Spain, at the lovely market under the plane trees in Ceret, to a musical evening in Pergpignan and the beach at Collioure. Medieval Churches, Castles, Towns ... there is so much to see. Ashley and Simon were wonderful and interesting hosts, and little Sophia had everybody wrapped around her finger with her charms! They did everything to make us feel at home – and it worked! We left with the feeling that we’d been visiting friends. Thank you!

Stayed 29/05/10 - 5/06/10 We returned to this venue because it suits our needs in every respect. Simon and Ashley are so welcoming, they provide excellent food and drink ( good quality ingredients, generous helpings) and the facilities are superb. The property itself is cosy, clean, beautifully decorated, well provided for in terms of furnishings and kitchen tools/pots etc. Hot showers, warm in winter. Gorgeous location, swimming pool in summer, lawns, picturesque stunning views, mountain walking,skiing in winter, coastal swimming in summer, all in easy reach. Hosts provide good customer service, advice, contacts etc. We have recommended them to our friends already. Good local resturants in Corsavy and an amazing vineyard/resturant at Chateau Jau towards Tautavel.
