The staff was very friendly. However, our light fixture was broke upon arrival and hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom. There were discarded chicken bones found on top of the toilet seat (even though housekeeping had just left the room), and our bathroom flooded pretty much each time one of us took a shower. It’s a great location along the parade route, but could use some major updates!

Dirtiest room I’ve ever seen. I work in hotel housekeeping and the state of the room vs. the $400 I paid to stay two nights was ridiculous. Floor hadn’t even been swept or mopped. I have photos of everything. I was appalled at how different the photos on the listing are compared to how this room actually looked in person. Roaches crawling in the room. Comforter on the bed was disgusting. The whole room was unbelievable.

This was the most run-down ratty room I have ever stayed in. The door was barely hanging on the hinges. Daylight was visible on all 4 sides of the door. The toilet seat was not connected to the toilet. A lounge chair was nasty and looked like a science experiment gone bad. I will say the staff was very friendly. I. Will sleep in my car on the street before I stay there again.

Well one our door didn’t open on the outside you literally could push it open without the key…. The room itself was nice bed was comfortable and the water was good and overall the stay was great just the door needed to be fixed

The staff was friendly. But in room 208, the curtain sheer was torn, the writing desk was bent way down in the middle, the nightstand drawer won't close properly, the TV and phone didn't work. The a/c/heating unit was so high up on the wall, I had to use a rolling office chair to stand in (yikes) to change the temperature. The mini fridge and microwave in the room was very nice. The coffee maker was so filthy, I cleaned it thoroughly before using. My friends were in room 309 - plaster had fallen off the ceiling and was in the floor when they arrived. They also said they saw bugs. They checked out immediately. :(

The staff was very nice but with the severe cold weather there was some issues with the TV not working and the multiple attempts to flush the toilets due to not flushing on the first try but overall everything was fine

Booked two rooms for a week, Stayed one night realized the conditions were questionable, checked out the next day, manager was not present and I was told to come back the next day for refund, I returned the next day, but the manager was not present again, called several times several different days have yet to been issued a refund. Meanwhile I had to book 2 rooms at a different hotel problem still unresolved

This was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, bathroom was dirty and there was a strong odor of urine, bathroom door was completely broken in half and the shower was extremely dirty and wouldn’t drain. I will definitely be passing this place by next time through Mobile.

We arrived at the property at 7pm, the buidlings looked cute, the price should have been the giveaway this wasnt going to go well. We went into reception and it took more than 20 mins to get anybody to help. (Just as a reference, the Holiday inn across the street helped us immediately and was extremely friendly) So when we finally got staff, she was not friendly, no help on where our room was located, no suggestions on things to do in the area, just handed me the key and nothing else, until I was walking out when she gave me every excuse for why she "didnt hear us". The elevator reaked of smoke, we got to the room, the key didnt work. My husband had to go get a key that did work, at this point I was already trying to book elsewhere. My point here is do not book here, the Malaga Inn was 2 blocks over and great.

First we were given key cards that didn't work and when we were able to get in to the room, there were no linens just a mattress, the floor was dirty and there were empty soda cans strewn about. When we got a new room it had 2 double beds instead of the king bed we paid for. Coffee maker had everything but an actual coffee pot. Saw 3 roaches through the course of the night. We left before sunrise.

room was not ready. could not check in, something wrong with the locks. Shantell Jackson was great!!! when we first arrived she was very helpful with directions to our destination that night and what restaurants were good in the area!!. However when we were finally able to check in later it was not Shantell at the counter, it was another lady. we decided to stay somewhere else. Did not want to come home at midnight and not be able to get into our room
