Accuracy of the listing— it said Downtown yet it’s .82 of a mile away. Over 3/4 of a mile away from the quaint shops is not in the downtown district. On another note, I let the owner know the thermostat was saying it needed maintenance and the place had an overwhelming fragrance of pine which seemed to be an effort to mask a smoke smell. I also told him not to worry about it as I was checking out after my 2 night stay (thought he’d want to know). In his response to me, nothing was mentioned about my message to him. His only response was for me to ensure I took the trash out, start a load of laundry, strip the beds & start the dishwasher. He should have asked me to dust the vases in the living room. On the pro side, I really liked the ad as it listed a washer and dryer. Both were full size and fairly new. The bed mattress was the best I’ve experienced in a rental unit. The kitchen was great! Normally I fail to post a poor rating, so know this was unusual for me.
