About this property

GuestHost - charming one bedroom apartment in Moscova area x3

In the lively Chinatown neighborhood, in a historic building, you’ll find this three-room apartment on the 1st floor with an elevator. Perfect for families or friends, it’s furnished in typical Milanese style: a striking and colorful design in a historic home. Bright and overlooking Via Sarpi, it’s strategically located for exploring on foot and enjoying the nightlife. The living room features a French-style sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a master bedroom, a bathroom with a window, and a spacious loggia—all brand new. It’s a 600-meter walk to Corso Como and a 10-minute walk to Parco Sempione.

The apartment is in a historic building with an inner courtyard, very quiet. It has been preserved in its original state, and the floor plan is original, as are the ceilings and windows. As soon as you enter, you’ll find the open kitchen with all appliances, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a toaster. To the right is the bedroom, which is very quiet, with a spacious closet and a small desk. In the living area, there’s a sofa bed for two, plenty of books, and a TV—perfect for relaxing after a day of shopping or visiting museums. The window overlooks the picturesque Via Sarpi, the heart of Milan’s Chinatown, from where you can embark on a delicious exploration of the many Chinese cuisines, featuring dumplings, ramen, and hot pot. Via Sarpi is an historic shopping street, a prime example of perfect Italian-Chinese cultural integration, featuring historic Italian boutiques alongside ultra-modern digital tech shops that have made it one of the city’s most sought-after neighborhoods: a lively atmosphere around the clock.

The spaces at Casa Sarpi have been optimized for a pleasant stay without sacrificing anything; in fact, there are even wardrobes for guests staying for longer periods. Free high-speed Wi-Fi rounds out the amenities.

PLEASE NOTE: Guests are advised that air conditioning is available only from June 1 through September 30.

Guests will have the entire three-room apartment at their disposal, located on the first floor (accessible by elevator) in a neighborhood of historic buildings and traditional “ringhiera” apartments.

Seven days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax.

MILAN’S CHINATOWN, FIVE EXPERIENCES TO TRY:

1. Stroll along Via Paolo Sarpi, the city’s longest pedestrian street (800 meters) and a true paradise for street food: bao, Chinese dumplings, Italian ravioli, Mexican tacos, Sicilian cannoli—choose your favorite dish and take it to go. Then grab a glass of wine at Enoteca Isola (Sardinian!) and you’ll have created the perfect fusion of ethnic cuisines!

2. Pay homage to Milanese design: the ADI Design Museum showcases all the products that have shaped the history of international design (M5 Monumentale). And we’re in for a treat here in 2023 (spoiler alert.....)

3. Visit the city’s largest open-air museum: the Monumental Cemetery, a place that preserves the memory of the people who made the city great, with mausoleums that are works of art in their own right. Guided tours are available, and I highly recommend taking one—it’s a truly unique journey through the artistry of Milanese family tombs (and a colony of cats!).
