The property is a converted old building. There are rooms and suites. Our room was at best mediocre and half-restored. It took 4 days for the A/C to be fixed. The bathroom was old. The shower had no holding bars and the floor discharge point had a separate cover that moved away and became unsafe. The sink was barely flowing, fixed quickly but by the time we left (5 days later) was plugging again. Breakfast was OK, worse than in the Rome hotel and much more limited than in any 4* hotel in Madrid. Breakfast service was bad with the exception of the days when a bearded gentleman took care of things. The only positive memory (relatively speaking) of my stay at the hotel was the young Iranian lady that did the evening turn. She was really helpful. I don't recommend this hotel and the 4* is unwarranted.

Loved the rooftop space on the top of the hotel. The hotel has a great location - we walked to the Duomo, the Last Supper, the Science and Technology Museum, the Shopping Mall, and the Theater. Excellent breakfast in the adjoining restaurant. Very personable staff. Very clean.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Duomo, tucked away on a quiet side street. It’s a small hotel converted from an old pharmacy, with original cabinets in the lobby and restaurant that preserve its charm and ambiance. The service was excellent—staff were helpful and quick to respond. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel served excellent dinners—well-prepared, flavorful, and made with care. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice. However, breakfast was disappointing and not worth it. If possible, I’d recommend skipping it. Unfortunately, the room itself was very basic, lacking the same charm and attention to detail found in the common areas. The bathroom accessories were in poor condition and falling apart, which detracted from the overall experience.

I wish I could give the front desk staff more than 5 stars. They were extremely helpful in arranging transportation, restaurant recommendations/reservations. The hotel is on a quiet one way street that gets hardly any vehicle traffic. But that doesn't mean its off the beaten track. It is easy walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants as well as the Domo. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The bedrooms are decorated with antiques and the bathrooms are all modern. The hotel has a rooftop terrace which provides a nice getaway after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. They are partnered with a restaurant that is accessible via the lobby. They offer breakfast every morning for hotel guests. We had dinner our first night and the meal was fantastic. When we return to Milan, we will definately stay here again.
