Our guesthouse is completely separate from the main house. It boasts a convenient location sandwich between Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, The Roads, and Little Havana in the neighborhood of Shenandoah. The area is a working class area mixed with all socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures. The property is secured with an automatic gate for private on-site parking and security. It’s a fully furnished studio with a nice-sized bathroom, vanity table, and kitchenette. Guests can enjoy shared amenities (with the owner of the property and their kids) such as the pool, cabana bath, and hot tub. We are within walking distance of trolley and bus stations. A short 1.2 miles from the metro rail stations. Wynwood is 4 miles away and South Beach is 8 miles away. This listing is geared toward active tourists.

Would stay again
Very clean, very well kept, and enjoyed our stay. Quite hours are from 7am-9pm, which wasn’t a problem for the majority of our stay. However, we were driving from a distance, and weren’t going to be getting in until closer to 11. Meghan had told us that after 9 she wouldn’t be able to help us if we had any problems with check in, and that we could just refer to the check in email she sent us. Not a problem, but upon arrival, the lock box with the remote for the main gate wouldn’t open. After about 15 minutes of trying, we decided to just try and use the side gate which also wasn’t working. The check in directions were not working, and because it was after hours, messaging Meghan wasn’t working. We found a different way in, and in the morning she responded, and gave us the remote. We understand not being available during certain hours, it was just weird we couldn’t get in with the info we were given. Meghan was sweet when we met her, and we would definitely stay again.

Good location comfortable stay
The location of this property was central to all of our happenings in southern Florida. Shared driveway with the main house. This can be a bit tight with larger vehicles, but no issues on our part. The pool is extremely clean and well maintained. Though located more toward the main house, it was a great add-on to our stay. The quant studio provided all the ammenities needed. The price point of this accomodation allowed us to take an additional overnight to Key West without needing to worry about the extra night in Miami. If we were planning another trip to the area, this would be a consideration for a second booking.

It's a great spot if you are looking for a place to crash while visiting Miami. The room was as described, and clean and cozy. We didn't feel comfortable using the pool area.
