The hotel is overstaffed by receptionist who stand around and talk while we make everybody wait until 3 o’clock to help them basically. There’s not enough housekeeping so people who arrive like we did at nine in the morning. Have to sit and wait until 3 o’clock for a room, the reason they provided was because The cleaning lady was still cleaning the rooms. I guess they opened them all up at the same time because the lobby and the upstairs waiting area were full with people sleeping on the floors, not very luxurious. The amenities were horrible. You get one roll of toilet paper no tissues, one bath towel per adults and one hand wash towel for everyone in the room to use when asked to provide another one they said they were not allowed to. Also, the room was limited to one cup of coffee and one sugar and no stir sticks so we had to use our toothbrush to mix our coffee in the morning. The amenities are horrible, and the attention was as bad I would dearly hope that they fix these things because it’s a brand new hotel another thing was that the towels are nice but they’re not luxurious as they feel like they don’t get washed with good laundry detergent and do not use any softener as they are hard kind like motel six I do not recommend this hotel unless you bring your own towels bring your own pack of sugar For your coffee and tea and your own amenities!

This was my first time in Mexico City and it was wonderful the staff their was awsome and the place is hotel is beautiful. Rooms had A/C and we enjoyed our stay we will definitely purchase a room here again in the future.

I loved the location in historic downtown lots to see and experience. The check-in was easy the staff was friendly at check-in. The building is Beautiful and very clean However, once you are established in your room, your needs are no longer their priority. It was almost impossible to get bathroom essentials, let alone extra coffee cup and sugar. I recommend not using the stairs. My mother missed a step and had a terrifying fall due to no handrails; the last step is not carpeted and blends in with the beautiful marble floors. The staff did help her up but offered no assistance to our waiting taxi, nor did they follow up with her throughout our stay. As the days followed the hotel staff had no patience for the taxi driver who had to take more time assisting my mother to and from the cab due to her injury. Since our arrival home, my mother has had multiple Dr. appointments and is currently awaiting results of MRI of her knee. All of which could've been prevented, had they simply installed a handrail!

I found the property lovely, just like the pictures. At first I was disappointed to not have a balcony room; however, having an inside room was GREAT…no noise pollution, no disturbing light. Just quiet dark sleep on quality linens, comfy temps, good pillows. Room was large, well appointed. Excellent coffee. Only negative: left a small ring, inquired but didn’t hear back. Restaurant was very good for the one breakfast I ate there. Wish I’d known I could access from front instead of maneuvering steep stairs. Patio furniture on rooftop, would have been wonderful to sit out. Overall, 9.5 out of 10.0. Staff was great!!! Definitely would like to return. Loved the central location to so many walkable places. Convenient to a pharmacy, 7-11, restaurants.
