Never again!

The cleanliness of this hotel was terrible. The hall carpet was absolutely disgustingly dirty. The sheets were covered in stains which is completely unacceptable. The tiles in the room were dirty and the glass wear was not clean. And the fridge door was broken so very difficult to open. I complained and demanded the sheets be changed. I waited an hour and no one came. I had to go down to reception and demand the sheets be changed immediately. Someone came half and hour later. Extremely bad experience and I will never stay at the Voco Melbourne again!

Clean and modern property, very central location with attentive and helpful staff. Lovely comfortable bed and blockout curtains, however not quite the pillow choices of similar properties graded properties. The lane way was pretty gross - vomit and cigarette butts galore. Understandably out of the hotel’s control but I’d probably arrange to have the vomit directly outside the front door cleaned up rather than stay there for literally an entire day festering and greeting every guest on the way in and out (was still there even when we left after 4pm).

Voco Hotel is just what I needed. The gym is huge compared to most hotels. It is right next to some great restaurants on Hardware Lane. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is also in the heart of the CBD. I recommend this hotel.
