dim room, frayed carpets, had to have lights on all the time even daytime when it was sunny outside, couldn't open double doors to balcony. After requesting key received the key for another door to balcony that was like a fire door -heavy and no way to leave open, still no key to double doors, windows were dirty and despite requesting be cleaned did not happen, outside the balcony (stoned area that had old mops, cans and other rubbish. There were no facilities in building we were in and told the only access to open air pool (which was a key reason for the booking this accommodation) was in a building that has only 2 bedroom apartments....finally given access to the outside pool - the process was to go to reception which was not in our building to collect key tag for another building up another road and then to return key to reception when finished -unable to access indoor pool with our key tag which again was not in the building the apartment was in and to top it all had to ring and bang on door to reception at 4am on departure which was 24 hours - the quick return box was inside the reception area - The Sebel failed to meet its 4 and a 1/2 star rating and the advertising of this place is misleading.

Room was fine, staff were great. Unfortunate my request for a room overlooking the marina couldn’t be accommodated even though I booked the room 6 months earlier. What really irked me however was this place has obviously become dog friendly. Dogs in the foyer, in the lifts. Barking dogs in the hallway. Crying kids I understand but really don’t want dogs around me on my holiday.

We had a great stay the apartment had all the amenities we needed and was clean and as advertised. I can't thank the staff member at front reception enough for helping we out with a battery for my insulin pump which went flat in the middle of the night. Great location great stay thanks Sebel.

The studio is very small making it very difficult to move around the bed. TV wasn’t working. Drain appeared blocked. No dryer in the unit and no clothes rack to dry your clothes.

Upon checking in the wifi was not working, which was very inconvenient as I needed to remote work and had a meeting to attend. No compensation offered for the inconvenience. The bed was quite uncomfortable, found it better sleeping on the couch at times and the water pressure in the shower rather weak with the head constantly sagging down. Great access to public transport and walking distance to a variety of shops. Decent size space for longer stays. Not very sound proof so if you’re sensitive to noise it wouldn’t be ideal.
