The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. However the room was small and the wardrobe and shower recess were both extremely small to the extent that I could not hang long trousers and it was uncomfortable to shower. I expect better paying $335+ per night.

We felt lucky to stay at the Oaks. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the location on the tramline was perfect for walking and using transit to see the city and travel to the airport. Very good / interesting, casual and reasonably price restaurants in the Luna area of St Kilda. We stayed twice and were very happy. The second stay was in a somewhat tiny room but with some manouvering was workkable. We recommend it.
