The staff are lovely & helpful. The Arden is within walking distance to many great pubs, restaurants, sporting venues, shopping & has parking which we love !! No stress trying to find a park !! We love the Arden & will be back.

Properly is dated…1970s …but clean ,quiet, a daily continental breakfast which was replenished daily. Very generous supply of breakfast condiments and bathroom amenities generous also. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking included. Hot water in shower fabulous. Would definitely stay again. Very close to trams and pleasant walk to Victoria Market and surrounded by numerous eateries.

The Arden Hotel North Melbourne is a hidden gem. It is super close to the city and most places you might want to visit, has 4 seperate tram lines going near by it and has the quiet but groovy North Melbourne cafe and restaurant scene just around the corner. If you want a convenient, easy to reach and park hotel which has genuinely friendly staff, try this hotel !

This motel decor is a time capsule back to the 80s and maybe 70s! Lovely reception staff excellent location close to hospitals Melbourne University Victoria Market and Errol St restaurants and hotels as well as very handy onsite parking. Rooms are dated as mentioned but clean and practical. Beds are small - anyone over 6 ft would be challenged! Pillows could be updated.

Good customer service! I checked in and out with no hassle, even when I arrived the hotel earlier, they still let me check-in the room due to it was raining at the time. The included breakfast was a bit disappointed as only a slice of bread and a pack of cornflake to be eaten inside the room. Anyway, the room was clean even if this hotel is a bit old. ompared to the cost, perday, I would recommend the Arden hotel to anyone who prefer to live in low budget accomodation.

In its day, this would have been a four star hotel. It has aged since then and the expectations of some might fall short as its a bit shabby. But, when you analyse it, the room was quiet, the shower was powerful and so was the wifi. Parking was convenient and the QV market is nearby. The trade-off for its age is that the pricing was competitive, so the bottom line is that it was fine for our 2 night stay. I wouldn't honeymoon here, but if you need a bed in N Melbourne at a reasonable cost...... it's fine.
