I could live here forever...

I really enjoyed my stay ,free breakfast,clean room.They put new sheets on the bed for me !I really hated to leave this place.It felt so much like home.They greeted me each day with ," Have breakfast " "Have you had breakfast ? " Service with a smile , they really cared.

good stay in the old part of the city

Fine hotel, very reasonable price. Speak Spanish or have a translator (google translator will suffice), the management and most of the help only speak spanish. Need a land-line? Turn left out the door, go half a block for a good price. Church? Turn right, go a block for 7, 8, 9 o'clock daily Mass. Located in an older and more beautiful part of town. Not near the airport, but the hotel may provide an airport pickup. Plenty of available restaurants and transportation. See (and climb?) the 'Rock'. Shop in the huge open market in the city (Huelco - the 'hole'). Taxi's are inexpensive, the elevator train to the center of Medellin is within walking distance. Spring all-year-round. No elevator if you need one. Air conditioned with cable TV. Cuidado! - when crossing the avenues, pedestrians do not have the right-of-way!

Quaint inexpensive friendly hotel with good breakf

The hotel is located in a nice area with many restaurants and all types of shopping. While there were some funky elements, the key point is that I came back to this hotel later in my trip. The cost was reasonable especially compared to others and the breakfast buffet was good. Not only would I stay there again - I did.

Hotel located near restaurants great area

Had reservations since Feb 17 upon arrival on September 2017 I was told they had a problem with the reservation And we were sent to another hotel next to it with no AC no windows poor cleaning not a very good place to stay I refuse to stay there therefore they send me to a third-floor I'm at 66 years old and the place has no elevator I was very upset and therefore they send me about five days later to a first floor to a suite there's no such thing no hot water TV didn't work and AC only work for part of the room too close the one bed and nothing for the rest I do not recomend this hotel the guys in the restaurants were very good good servers good attention but the rest of the hotel it's a NO ☹️ there is a lot of other good hotels around like the Lincoln and many others that you will see on 70 St. there was a convention or 50 people from Puerto Rico to see the pope I do believe they give preference to that group and ignore my reservation

Didn't have my CONFIRMED room,

Arrived at night and they did not have my reservation. Showed them my EXPEDIA confirmation and they told me they were sold out. Sent me to a hotel next door. Very small room, NOT like the photos for the Laureles. Checked out for good the next day and ate the three additional nights that I prepaid. Not a good experience
