This house was amazing. The host was great & we had so much space to enjoy each other's company. The house was supplied w/all the necessities. The kitchen was great to cook in, the spa was very nice & the pool table was fun. Could use a 1/2 cue stick too though, tight quarters to play in. There were a couple of pans that were not in good shape, but I mentioned it to the host & she thanked me for my feedback, so hopefully they'll be replaced. I'd definitely stay here again.

Family gathering at McCall

This was an easy visit all around. Communication and instructions were on time and simple for everyone to understand. The house was amazing and the perfect fit for our group of 15. Access to the house was easy and the location provided quick access to the venues we wanted to see.

Fun place. Loved all the room and the decks and the hot tub. Played pool, sang karaoke. Big kitchen, dining room, and living room area. Lots of parking. A fun stay.

It was more compact and not as open as the description.

The house was just okay. It needed more detail attention to prepare for the next guest. The stove is gas and didn’t light easily and on one occasion we had a flare up of flames. The dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes so we washed them all by hand. We also grilled meat the last day on the grill and the propane was low and we barely made it and then it was empty and the 2nd propane can was empty. We also had a door knob inside a bathroom come off and one of our grandkids was stuck inside. Bring your own dishtowels we went and bought some. Dish soap was almost empty we had to go buy some. We had a great time as a family I just felt they missed details for preparing for the next guest. The landscape is landscaped with rocks with front and back. Not a great yard for kids. They did had 2 nice decks.

Guys Ski Trip

Our trip was a guys ski trip with 13 gentlemen. We skied both Brundage and Tamarack. Great island space to hang out and talk. Plenty of off street parking because at one time we were up to 8 cars. Pool table got used. Sauna got used and so did hot tub. Very good house for a large group.

Great group getaway

We had a group of twelve guys all golfing for the weekend and this house was an excellent place to stay. Hot tub, pool table and enough beds for all of us. The kitchen has a large range to allow for cooking multiple items and the space accommodated all of us comfortably.

The hostess was very accommodating. The property has a nice open floor plan that works well with a large group gathering and having good conversation. Ample dining and cooking area. We were very pleased with our stay.

Family Reunion

We enjoyed our stay at Payette Lodge this past week for a long overdue family reunion. The property is well located just minutes from town with plenty of parking and space for the family to gather. It is an older property and could use a little TLC, but the accommodations are comfortable with plenty of room for this type of gathering. The owners/managers were very accommodating and available to help with anything we needed during our stay. We would definitely book Payette Lodge again in the future.

Great Place for a Family Reunion

We loved all the places to sit, whether it was just hanging out, playing games, or eating. There was great space for everyone. Cleanliness wasn't great. There was popcorn under the couches from other stays among other things. The hand soap was all watered down and the downstairs one didn't even work. We went and bought soap for all the bathrooms. They do limit you on toilet paper and have a few other regulations that visitors need to pay attention too before they go. Ultimately we would stay there again and really loved the location and the space in the home. Kitchen was also reasonably stocked.

Big house; nothing exceptional

The house is plenty big to hold a large group. Unfortunately, you're only provided 1 towel per person & very few washcloths. The kitchen had few towels, so we ended up buying more. House seems to be just a rental and not a home. Works better for people driving in with lots of their own stuff. Communication was easy with manager, but broken dishwasher unable to be repaired during our long stay. Shop around for comparison homes of this size before renting. This one is fine, but nothing special.

Great fit for friend group with kids

Loved being out from town, but not too far, easy drives to both Brundage and Tamarack, as this was a friend group ski trip. Lots of rooms and space for all. Great communication from host.

Amazing

Such a great place! We had plenty of room for a group of 18. The kids had a blast. The sauna and jacuzzi were great. The rooms were wonderful. Plenty of seating to eat and relax. The property manager was great and she always answered my questions or concerns very very quickly. I would recommend this property to anyone with a large group

Wonderful Christmas Vacation

It was a very easy check in and check out process. It was roomy enough for all of us to enjoy the kitchen/dining/living area for food and games. We loved the sauna and hot tub. A very comfortable and warm atmosphere. The location was ideal to enjoy nice relaxing walks. Our whole family had a wonderful time.

Wonderful house for family time

This house was perfect for us! The expansive main space with comfy living room couches and chairs, large dining room table and kitchen island with bar seating made it easy for conversation, games, and, of course, eating. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main level, which meant my 80-year mother didn’t have to go up and down stairs. The teenagers especially liked the downstairs rec area with big sectional, tv, and pool table. The bunk room was great for the cousins, and the bedroom with a queen bed and bunk bed was ideal for my brother’s family with 3 babies/toddlers. The compartmentalized bath worked well for being used by multiple people, and there are 2 other bathrooms downstairs besides that. The hot tub and grill are also nice features. The location is pretty quiet and just a short distance to town. A paved bike path is fairly close, although getting there requires going a shoulderless road. The house was very clean and well-maintained, except it was apparent when we arrived that the dishwasher had malfunctioned after the last visitors. It just required an easy fix, but all the plates, etc. needed to be rewashed. Also note, as stated in the house rules, that toilet paper, paper towels, etc. are only provided in a fairly small supply (considering our 4-night stay). The grill ran out of propane just as we were finishing with it, so check this beforehand. These were minor issues to us, and the manager was prompt to reply to texts. Overall, we loved it!
