You are one block from 3rd street and 3 blocks from Washington St so walking to restaurants, shops, breweries and bars along these two main arteries of Marquette is an easy stroll. NMU, Lake Superior, Lower Harbor and the hospital are also within walking distance. Perfect landing pad to explore Marquette. Enjoy the spectacular IMBA Bronze level mountain biking trails; immaculately groomed cross country ski tails; multiple hiking trails; kayaking; canoeing; paddle boarding; sandy beaches. It was a nice quiet place to sleep while out all day in beautiful Marquette. WiFi worked very well and had a lot of free streaming on TV. A good studio for a couple to use for sleeping and relaxing after an all day and night activities. Very peaceful and we got some good sleep. Thank you

First of all, we didn't there. Stairway was virtually inaccessible, only one handrail, incredibly steep Stairway, impossible to carry luggage up. When making the reservation, it was not indicated that this rental was on the second story. The apartment smelled musty, the refrigerator could have been better cleaned. The photo of this rental had me fooled. I called the owner/manager and explained why we couldn't occupy the rental primarily because of the serious accessibility issue. She never returned my call. I expect a refund.

Great Place!

This is a lovely rental! We stayed here for graduation weekend and would stay here again. VERY comfortable mattress, nice kitchen, great shower, and the entire place was very clean. Excellent location that is easily walkable to Third Street Bagel (very yummy), Black Rocks Brewery, and Washington Avenue corridor. Highly Recommend.

Excellent location

Centrally located and within walking distance to town (an easy walk downhill to town, with a bit of a climb back to the apartment). We were very pleased with the clean kitchen, bedding, and bathroom. While the kitchen chairs showed some wear, they were still functional, and the futon/couch has a well-loved feel. There was a slight smell of marijuana when we arrived, which could have been from a nearby unit. Overall, we had a great stay!

Nicely finished apartment. Comfortable bed, nice bath and kitchen. Just right for a couple. Would recommend Carrie and her place but Verbo not so much.

I loved being in this comfortable, cozy and clean apartment that has all one needs. Location is great, within walking distance to everything you'd need or want. I would love to stay here for several weeks or months actually! The stairs were a bit narrow which made it somewhat difficult taking my luggage up for me...but I would still come back!

Very musty smell

My first impression of this property was run the other way when we first pulled up but I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt hoping it was a hidden gem. The smell of Dirty feet and old musty house hits me as soon as I walked in the door. I did not feel this propert was suitable or clean and am extremely confused by the other reviews which are inaccurate. We left right away and booked s room at a very nice hotel nearby for $75 less than the cost of the VRBO itself. Very disappointed.

Studio Apartment/Good Location

This property is a small studio apartment perfect for two people who need a place to sleep in a good location. It does have a steep, narrow stairway leading up to the apartment. It is in walking distance to the main streets with restaurants/shops on them. It’s clean and the owner responds to messages. It has the basics, but nothing extra. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for the one night we were there.

The perfect spot

We had a quick weekend up in Marquette so this location was exactly what we needed. It had all of the essentials, it was clean and updated, and a perfect location from downtown. Even though we were right above people, it was very quiet and i didn’t feel like we had to be silent. It was great that we had our own parking spot during the night time as well! I would stay in this place again for sure, when it’s warmer, everything is walking distance! Highly recommend this stay.
