The stay was good, the pool was out of order for renovations so that was a let down. They are getting their parking garage renovated as well & are offering complimentary valet but the valet attendant was rude about us going to get our own car but when we returned leaving it for them to park. But mind you we didn’t ask for valet we couldn’t park our own car because their parking garage situation. It’s his job to park the car so I don’t understand why he would be upset.

I have been visiting this property for 15 years, and while I have always enjoyed my stays, I was disappointed by one change during this visit. The Tarpon Club now occupies the entire first four rows of beach chairs and umbrellas, which forces regular guests to sit much farther back without a clear view of the ocean,for me is more than important because when you have kids they want to be on the seashore playing with the sand and you have to watch them .In the past, there was a more balanced arrangement,about half for the club and half for guests,which felt fair and ensured that all visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a front-row view. It seems only reasonable that long-time guests should still have the right to access at least part of the front rows, rather than being relegated exclusively to the back.The rest excellent as always.The staff of Tom are really nice same as KW employees.Unit 1109 need maintenance on the shower.

We had stayed at this property when it was the Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa but hadn’t been back in years. It was a high end resort back then. It has now been converted into a condo hotel and is going through renovations not just the pool area as mentioned in the property description but in the courtyard area and it’s an eyesore. We had ocean view from the 10th floor which was beautiful until you looked down and saw the mess. Included with your room rate you get beach chairs with an umbrella which is very nice. Unfortunately those chairs are situated in a designated area behind the chairs for members of the Tarpon Club which remained on property. The staff attending to the members of the club park their carts and trailers in the space dividing the two areas of chairs and block the beach view for those that have to sit in the designated area for hotel guests. We were there three nights. On the first night someone got stuck in one of the elevators and all elevators were made inoperable which meant we had to walk up ten flights of stairs after we got back from dinner. Not what we had expected. They got them working again by the next morning to have another go down the next afternoon. So during our three day stay the two elevators were down at different times. On a positive note, the room was clean and comfortable and the rate was extremely reasonable.
