Do not book this hotel if you plan on arriving early. They are not accommodating at all. Check in is at 4 pm but normally if a service room is ready they will let you check in early. Showed up at 2 pm and was told room 611 was not ready that they would call me when ready. I left but returned at 3 pm because my wife wasn't feeling good. Told the front desk about my sick wife. Still not ready! Went sit outside in car with wife not feeling well. Came inside at 4 pm. Still not ready. I then proceeded to make a scene. The room was miraculously done in 2 minutes. The front desk gentleman seem like they are on a power trip and when I was making a scene he said this isnt a hotel. It seems like they cater to condo owners not renters. Also couldn't use the patio during the day because of construction work going on the pool area below us with a lot of construction workers cutting tile. This confrontation at the beginning was a horrible first impression.

Reception rep. was unfriendly and unwilling to answer our questions, as this was our first stay at the Marco Beach Ocean Suites. Check-in time was stated as 4 p.m. It was delayed until 4:52p.m.... not even an apology was given. The view from our balcony was appalling! It was stated to me on multiple occasions when I called, previous to our arrival, "Do you realize the pool is closed? The pool was more than just closed! Right out our balcony, it was a huge construction zone. Tons of building equipment all around the area. Ten men working... scraping the sides of the pool, etc. starting at 8 a.m.!! And, worse than all this, they operated a large electric or gas powered saw that was heard through closed doors. Needless to say, for all these reasons we were unable to use our balcony, were awakened at 8 a.m., and were robbed of an enjoyable vacation. Please advise.

Room was clean. All supplies that we needed were provided. Very noticeable chemical smell from cleaning supplies that was a bit overpowering. Person greeting us upon checking in not helpful on orientation to the property. Figured it out ourselves. Parking attendant very courteous and helpful. Workout room had everything you needed.

best place I have every been! so peaceful, most beautiful shells found. Stunning Resort! Sale de Pepe a must go to Italian restaurant in hotel ! I felt like I was in another country. I want to go back again and again!

Provided beach chairs, beach towels and a bag. Loved being right on beach and overall decor was beautiful. Could use some maintenance as the kitchen sink leaked, lamp in bedroom was broken and the shower handle fell off. Disappointing since price was so high.
