The staff while checking in were really friendly and helpful. The property was larger than we expected, loved the restaurant next door and it was a quaint walk from our room. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. We will remember this place next time we get to the keys.

Great property, we stayed in the Marlin apartment. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was especially for the price. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have already mentioned to family and friends, this is the place to stay.

You definitely get what you pay for. The room is very spacious, but very outdated (wobbly table and chairs). Bed was very comfortable. Floors clean. Bare minimum in kitchen. Tiny bathroom. Broken shower head (was told it would be fixed, but it was not, but we didn't ask for it to be fixed, we managed). It did the job for what we needed for two nights. Can't remember which one we stayed in, but try to get the cottage that faces the marina and not the one close to the street.

We enjoyed our room. It was clean and provided everything we needed. Liked the way it was decorated.The only thing was that there was no sound bearers between the rooms or the upper rooms.

This is a great location with a short bike trip to the 7-mile bridge. This is my second time staying here and both times the room was super cold. I would recommend bringing warm jammies to sleep in and extra blankets if you can. The shower in the Loggerhead only runs cold water so be prepared. Other than that, it's a good stay for the price.

Home away from home

We apways enjoy our stay in Marathon. Captain Pip was a very nice place. Conveniently located to all our fishing spots. Room was spacious n clean. Bed was very comfortable! One thing that was a negative for us n im sure to others ive read in the reviews is how thin the walls r. We can hear EVERY thing next door. Luckily our neighbor wasnt loud but we can still hear them talking. Other than that, we love the place

Second time staying and it did not disappoint. The rooms are old but very clean. Rented a boat through them and staff was great. Great nearby restaurant's.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our apartment was spacious and we loved being at the canal to watch the boats come in and out! We did two of the boat tours, which we highly recommend, the island tour and the reef tour. We had Captain Candace and first mate Corey for both. They were very knowledgeable on the area and fun! Our stay was relaxing and when we were hungry and didn’t feel like cooking we walked to Porkies! Excellent food and service! Everything that you could want to do is right there. We took advantage of the free kayaks and saw dolphins on our voyage. It’s a great place and not like your typical resorts that become overwhelming! Loved it!
