Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Check in was horrible. Guy behind the glass barely said two words and was very irritable. I guess he forgot he was in the hospitality business. Toilet bowl was dirty on arrival. Room was full of dust and when the sun shined in it looked liked it was a blizzard of fine dust particles. Guess I got what I paid for

Great hotel. our favorite in Mammoth close to the gondola and restaurants in town. Don't have to drive once you arrive. Could improve the heating controls as electric baseboard is tricky to adjust.

The Alpenhof lodge is a quaint lodge directly across from the village. The Clocktower seller is a fun place to socialize after après-ski. The front desk is super helpful. I appreciate Adam and every one was very nice. They helps Make the stay comfortable.

It’s an old cozy place to spend a few nights and the location is great! There are a number of eateries including Petra’s and it’s a walk to the Gondola that takes you to Canyon Lodge and access to the snow!
