My fault I apparently didn’t read the fine print- NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was hot the first night and I was unable to sleep. 2 nd night I was able to open the window as the temp dropped. Clean. Staff was good. But also note there are 4 Woo-hop’s in Madrid. I also booked different hostal than my family.

Long weekend stay in a very nice location, very clean and friendly staff, many options for dining or breakfast - I would go back in my next trip to Madrid :)

beware the shared room doors do not lock, so anyone can walk in. the bathroom had mould growing and the walls in the room all had stains and a hole in. there was also electrical wires hanging out of a plug in the wall.

Cheap but not so cheerful

Didn't honour my simple request, as they said they would. Staff was a mixed bunch: the girl was nice, with good customer service, the guy with the ponytail was somewhat unnecessarily rude. The whole place could do with a scrub down and repaint. That said, good value for money and an excellent location.
