Perfect location, in the center of city. Country people can be disturbed about the noise on the evenings, night time quiet. Apartment quite well equipped, some small "musts" we had to buy as a cork screw..... No problem. A pleasant and good value for the money.

Madrid weekender

Can't fault Prado apartments. Self check in was ideal. All information required available. Apartment itself is modern, spacious and clean. Perfect location for everything. Slept well. Would use again.

comfortable apartment in great location

We really loved the apartment and it's location, however when we came home from our trip, we did get two traffic violations from the City of Madrid, because the hotel is located in a traffic restricted area. Unless you have a permit, you are not allowed to drive to the hotel, not even for a quick pick up or drop off of the luggage. It is camera enforced and you will get a traffic ticket. The hotel did not warn us about this issue. The only way is to park your car in a parking garage and then walk your luggage to the hotel which is a couple of blocks. Not very convenient!

Prado Apartamentos perfect location imperfect beds

Prado Apartamentos are perfectly located for easy walking among Madrid Atocha train station, Prado and other museums, and historic and shopping areas. Owners are terrífic to work with. Only drawback are the beds which are hard foam with uncomfortable pillows.

Living like a Spaniard

Good: 5 min walk to Anton Martin metro station (2 stops away from SOL) Lots of discos and restaurants nearby 3-4 small balconies (one for each room) Bad: Really noisy building and neighborhood; thin walls so we heard all the guests from other apartments going up and down the stairs, talking/shouting , even late at night Our bed was really squeaky and we couldn't avoid waking each other up when slightly changing our sleeping position

Basic facilities in good location

Pros: - Responsive property manager and someone was there when we arrived (not sure if this was by design or coincidence since we spoke about the same amount of limited English/Spanish) to point out the basic features of the apartment. - Convenient location to the main museums, pretty short walk to main shopping area, and a not unpleasant, but longer walker to La Latina and Royal Palace areas - Good basic facilities (washing machine, fridge, pull out sofa bed, etc) Other (not necessarily cons, but not pros...): - You get what you pay for. This was a pretty inexpensive apartment in a major city. The bed/pillows/towels were pretty uncomfortable and the apartment was a little stuffy. There was also hair from previous occupants that stuck on some of the rugs/couch. Nothing gross, just kind of like couch surfing... - Pretty spotty wifi connection, especially in the bedroom area Other: We had our 10 month old baby with us on the trip. For 20 EUR (rate could change) for the stay, we were able to borrow a pack and play for her to sleep in, which was helpful, although there wasn't a lot of extra space for it, so keep that in mind when planning. There was also an elevator and a slight ramp towards the door, which made entering/exiting with her easy.

Great location in central Madrid

Great stay in the apartment. The apartments are very well located - 15min walk to Gran Via, 5 min walk to Anton Martin Metro station. The staff were very helpful in organizing airport transfers and a late checkout.

Great place to stay.

Everything was great except our apartment was noisy because it was right over a bar. It was very nicely furnished and clean. Super location. A much better deal than staying at a hotel especially for families or multiple friends traveling together.

Convenient location. Quiet area. The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. Nearby are many cafes and restaurants. There was a problem with the plumbing, the staff quickly to fix it.

Great location, mediocre rooms

The location was fantastic -- very central to everything we wanted to see, and walking distance from the train station. It was also a fairly large space. However, the furniture was worn, the apt. was dark (almost no windows), and the bed wasn't very comfortable for two. The staff were responsive and made it very easy to check in and out.
