Owner took an unreasonable amount of time to respond to messages (days). When I reserved the room I purchased x amount of days however after my booking I was refunded for our final night. I reached out to the owner directly and asked for a refund because I needed all days, to which he did not answer, forcing us to get a different room for 1 night. Per Vrbo policies I would’ve only been able to receive half of my money back, regardless of the fact that the owner changed my dates. We arrived to bugs and hairs in the sheets of the beds and when we reached out to the owner to get them changed at 3pm the day we arrived he didn’t reply until noon the next day. The floors were dirty from the moment we entered and the refrigerator was leaking water, additionally there was cheese in the fridge from the last people who stayed. Hand soap was also not included in either bathroom. The front door was also impossibly difficult to open, often requiring entering the code 3-4 times. When just looking at the apartment it looks great but was the most inconvenient stay i’ve ever had. The location was good but the constant bugs in the room and terrible communication is simply not worth it.
